To make a weird story short, I ended up visiting a local metaphysical store that was unfortunately Wiccan. I asked if they had any beginner books on magic/sigils, and the store manager told me that I seemed not confident in what I wanted to do (I'm not new to being in contact with Lucifer, but I've wanted to delve/have been studying magic for a little while now), and he warned me that the Luciferian side of things is " very unforgiving" (???)

He also told me that before I "try anything" relating to magic to talk to him or the store owner first to make sure "what I'm doing is right".

It was a bit fear-mongery and the whole interaction was just.. uncomfortable?

I just wanted others' opinions on this.
