I know this settled down and will probably resurface in January/February but I truly wonder if he sees the long term view (thinking 10+ years at minimum) of staying put. Granted the only job I could ever see him leave for is OSU but even then he has built and continues to build something that hasn’t been seen in 40 years. It would be cool to see his own coaching tree get built out like Saban and other great coaches over CFB history.

The money trucks continue to pull in for NIL/facility upgrades and cannot imagine the blank check his agent fills out for him every year. Only 6 weeks away!

Granted this could change as we get closer to 2042 and beyond but am curious what direction people go when they add on to their initial contract. Do you try picking a few resorts to allow for 11 month booking window and just stick to your original home resort?

I would love to add on at BCV and AKL. I wonder if doing 25 points at BCV and larger at AKL would make sense or just do an add on at SS.

Had my first stay this week at Saratoga and thought the same concept used at CBR would be amazing. Has there been any chatter around freestyle machines being deployed to more DVC properties?

I know rooms more than likely aren’t ready yet but was curious if it helps with room requests. We are staying offsite the night before as we drive in and is a good way to get ahead of traffic and the daily hustle.

I have had varied success with both methods. We are driving in the night before and using Marriott points to stay offsite before our trip. I have had success showing up first thing in the morning (7:30-8am) to check in at the front desk and they have typically accommodated requests better than adding them to thru member services. I am curious what experiences others have had as well.

Trying to schedule a last second trip (yes I know I will book more 7-11 months out from here on out). It would be great to use my points and am curious if anyone has advice of how to contact/possibly be able to expedite.

I feel like this didn’t exist 20-25 years ago when I was growing up. Curious to see when the shift began in youth sports as now it seems like this becomes a coaches whole defensive gameplan on any non routine ball in the infield.

It’s to the point girls are so confused that they call time on a cleanly fielded ball with bases loaded.

Given the April/May stats of ROFR averaging 8 days I am starting to get worried.

I thought I was safe and the broker thought there would be no issue as well (SSR - 250 points - $88/point).

Anyone else seeing slower response times on the waived ROFR?

Curious to really get everyone’s takes here as a coach in our league tried to justify why it was acceptable to teach girls to yell swing as the ball comes in.

This is a recreational 8u coach pitch league. We have a lot of younger players (think 6 to barely 7 year olds) and overall the skill level of the league is poor.

We are not affiliated with LL or any other organizations but do abide by NFHS rules. I believe there is an overarching spirit of fair play and the sportsmanship section seem to encompass this as well.

Is there anything I am missing here before bringing this to the commissioner and board to get enforcement/compliance by teams?
