Hello! I am Japanese and may be moving to either Madrid or Granada from Canada, for a PhD (UPM or UGR) in a predominantly Spanish environment. I do not speak Spanish at the moment and will try to learn it as fast as possible (I don’t need it for my PhD). I just wonder which city would be the best option in terms of integration and acceptance towards foreigners and chances to make friends.
