Chasing Snow and Independence: My First Solo Trip to Himachal Pradesh

Sharing some pics I captured when I visited Himachal Pradesh this March, marking my very first solo trip. For years, I’d traveled there with friends and family, mostly in winters chasing a dream to witness snowfall but the timing was never right. This time, traveling entirely on my own, luck was on my side. The absolute second I stepped off the bus, the flakes started falling. Looking out at those massive, quiet mountains blanketed in white felt completely therapeutic.

The real magic, though, was the independence. There was no one to depend on, no schedules to debate, just absolute freedom to do whatever I wanted. I know a lot of people go solo to meet groups or make fast friends, but I realized that, for me, solo traveling is about being truly alone with yourself. It’s about self-exploration. I managed to hike and explore Kasol, Kalgha, Pulga, Tosh, Barshaini, Chalal, and Rasol all by myself. Standing in the middle of the Parvati Valley, looking at what I pulled off, I've never felt prouder :)

Legalise this pleaseeee 🥹

I’m honestly fascinated by cannabis. Everything about it; the complex aromas, the rich flavors, the unique look of a perfectly cured bud, and the incredible experience it delivers, just blows me away. It truly feels like one of nature's most remarkable gifts. Down the road, I'd absolutely love to try my hand at cultivation, dive into the science behind how it grows, and see if I can produce some top-tier, artisanal quality of my own someday (maybe)🥹

Help on managing daily consumption!

Hey Ents, I think I’m smoking way too much weed lately. I work from home and my job is pretty chill, usually just one meeting a day but I’ve found myself smoking around 5 to 6 pure OG joints per day that too myself alone (sometimes with friends). Is that considered a lot? It feels like it’s becoming less about getting high and more just a constant loop.

Honestly, the biggest issue is that I feel the urge to light up another one almost immediately after finishing the first lol. It’s like a reflex at this point. Feels like I wanna stay high all the time. I’ve tried taking tolerance breaks in the past, but I completely bomb when it comes to managing my daily consumption when the stash is just sitting right there.

For those of you who WFH with a light workload, how do you manage this? Any tips on breaking that instant craving for a second joint would be massive.
(Lighting another J as I post this lol 😜)
