I'm planning to make a story with the tech of Hellmet; can someone explain what are some of the technological advancements in Hellmet (I'm not bothered to go to the wiki) because its grounded but somewhat futuristic.

I-I don’t know if I will ever come back from this and I don’t even know why I’m recording this right now but all I know is that I just need to get my thoughts out right now because I’m barely holding out in my position right now.
I have been separated from my team when we entered the square, our radios were abruptly switched off and we were then taken aback as POD soldiers popped out of the woodwork the next second; I didn’t get a second to think before fire rained on top of us.
I threw smokes just as their machine guns started firing and rushed towards a apartment complex, sergeant Hudson was then shot by a sniper and private Alex gets torn to shreds by their machine guns. I ran to the third floor of the apartment where I was hit by a nasty smell, I wasted no time in grabbing my gas mask from my belt and strapped it to my face tightly just as a POD smoker was throwing orange gas canisters down the hallway and before he could reach for his pistol, I shot him twice in his head.
I saw blood splatter around the stairwell and on the door handles of apartments but I didn’t think of anything of that.
I called for extract as most of my team was dead and we were ambushed; I called for my other squad mates, they ran until they reached the main hospital in the city but then their radio was then cut short as signal went out.
My eyes were burning, my throat was closing as the gas was burning me slowly but I pushed on forward to try and get out of this apartment; I reached the sixth floor and nearly stepped on a tripwire on the stairwell, I cut the wire and continued forward until I reached the roof where I was met with a helicopter approaching fast, it was a Blackhawk, it was coming really close but then it was hit by an RPG, it hit the tail rotor and sent it spiraling down until it hit the church north of my position.
I was devastated as my one hope for rescue was shot, I quickly got ahold of myself and rushed back down to try and find my teammates; I was heading down the stairwell until a door to a apartment was suddenly opened and someone lunged at me, it was a civilian who was trying to stab me so I quickly hit him with my rifle stock and shot him before rushing out of there to the ground floor.
My squad mate sent out a distress call from the hospital, he was yelling out for anyone as they were being taken hostage by the POD until the signal cut out.
I was about to rush out until someone suddenly called me out, I turned my gun towards him but then I realize it’s just a civilian calling for help, I decided to help him, he got hit by a stray bullet and I had to bandage him up; after I finished bandaging him, he told me something “Don’t go to the hospital…”
I asked him why and he was about to speak until he got shot in the head by a sniper and I quickly returned fire and shot the bastard off his post, he fell to the ground.
I reached for my radio and called in command for reinforcements but there was nothing but static noise until I heard a slight voice from the other line
“Pull out of there -BZZT- POD is here-“
My mind went blank for a moment as I thought to myself
“Oh god, please don’t tell me that- We lost command-“
I had to immediately get up as I remembered that my squad mate was trapped in the hospital, I prayed that my teammate was still alive…
I checked outside slowly, making sure no one was out in the open but I quickly noticed that… There was literally no one outside or any distant gunfire or drones flying but I couldn’t afford to be complacent here so I moved carefully amongst the wreckage of buildings and barricades, I then went inside a house just a kilometer from the hospital, I checked my ammo and realized I only have three magazines left for my rifle and two for my pistol.
I slowly checked out the rooms inside and found dead civilians in one room, I noticed that a lot of them had red spots and were in hospital gowns..
I ended going outside and went straight towards the main hospital and quickly realized that I-I should’ve listened to that old man…
When I entered the hospital, there was no one there. I saw medical records and trays on the floor, blood spread across the floor and a cut off hand still clutched to a AK
I slowly moved deeper into the hospital until I found a hallway where it was blocked off, I took down the barricade and saw something in the distance…
It was my teammate, I called out for him telling we have to get out, he told me… “Get- out of here.” Before pointing his gun towards his head and then…
BANG!
(He drops to the floor)
I-I just- What!?
Why did he tell me “Get out of here.” Before he ended his life!? Why!
Wait a minute- what’s this?
(He checks his dead teammate)
Bite marks? What the hell is this?
[Hospital PA] Attention! Sector C has been sealed off! Unauthorized personal are not allowed in!
Sector C? I need to figure out what the fuck is going on.
(He goes deeper into the hospital)
I need to figure out what is going on here and get the hell out of here.
(He goes towards a stairwell leading to the second floor)
I went further into the second floor, looking for any evidence or information for what on earth is going on.
I saw blood smeared all over the walls saying “Don’t open the ward”
I stopped for a second to look at it and wondered who wrote this…
but I pushed forward and found some empty guns but then there were IV bags filled with orange blood.
What the hell?
This is getting very weird right now…
What I found so far was ripped fabric of the POD’s uniform and bullet holes all over walls of the hallway…
Lots of medical tools scattered about and next to empty ammo boxes.
(He keeps walking until he encounters a locked doorway)
Wait… Why is this blocked off?
Ward C…
It’s blocked off with office equipment and hospital beds.
(Wheelchair rolls on by)
Ok! What type of sick joke is this?! POD! Come out already!
(Silence)

I decided to get rid of the barricades and went into the hallway, it was very dim in lighting, I switched on my GVNVGs and I saw something in the end of the hallway, I yelled out to it “Hey douchebag, who are you!” But he just went to the left corridor and ignored my command.
I was very confused of what happened in this hospital and the only thing I just want right now is to just know what on earth is going on?
It’s like everything that I knew of this world has been turned upside down and ripped apart like paper…
I turned the corner and went right into the next corridor, I see a boarded up door, I thought to myself “Why is this blocked off? Maybe I should check it out?” I forcefully tore down the planks pinning the door and then a body falls…
I stepped back, shock filled my entire body but I quickly pulled myself together and pushed the body aside and went inside; inside I found piles of bodies, some of them are in Russian EMR and in patient gowns, I check their bodies, most of them had bite marks, a lot of their pupils were dilated orange and red, and only the ones in POD uniforms have bullet holes in their head.
I was grossed out by the sight of it but before I could leave, I noticed an audio recorder in one of the soldier’s pockets.
I thought that maybe this could bring me some ideas of what even happened here. Alright, here we go…
RECORDING STARTED
“My name is Kolya.”
“We are barely holding out here.”
Doctors have been forcefully giving a lot of civilians something… I don’t even know what it is but I don’t know.”
(Sneezes)
“A lot of them are barely responding and whatever they gave them didn’t help as their bodies were twitching very fast”

I-I seen doctors and nurses drag our wounded and strapped them down to hospital beds as they were acting weirdly?

(Gunfire erupts)

(Gear rustling as he runs)

I need to think right now. What was that attack from that smoker earlier about? He didn’t charge at me with a gun, he threw canisters and smoke grenades with orange gas at me.
I thought it was just to drown us out but no one else came after he smoked me?
Was he trying to stop people from coming into the apartments? What else was in there-
(A damp footstep was heard)
(He raised his rifle towards the sound)

(POD soldier steps out of the darkness, his rifle barely holding on its sling, his gas mask lens cracked, and his uniform torn)

Oh great, more stairs.
(He starts walking up the stairs, slowly checking every floor for threats)
Every floor I reach, there has been significantly less blood and not a lot of weapons lying about; it was until I reached the 7th floor, the place was barren and blocked off.
I yelled out to anyone who is even here, no one answered and I couldn’t bear to wait so I took down the barricades, I checked every corner for blood or anything and found nothing; that is until I reached the security room…
I swiped the card on the scanner and the door swung open and I checked the cameras… The world needs to see this.
[Security camera 1 - Hospital lobby - 0846] Block off all entrances to the hospital. Nothing goes in or out of here!
(Ambulances rushing into the loading bay)
(Stretchers rush in every second)
(Patients convulsing on the floor)
Get them all into rooms, seal them off!

I just want to collapse right now and never wake up again but… The world needs to know what happened here and they need to know what the POD did.
