I keep scoring in the 1400 range, how do I score 1500+?

I've retaken the sat a few times and I still haven't been able to score 1500+. I don't know what to do to reach my target score, does anyone have tips please? To be fair the second time i took the sat I didn't study much, but the other two times I did. So i'm not sure what to do.
