Has anybody gone through this! :(

Shes an 03 wj with the 4.7 limited 151k miles on it

To put in short guys i been chasing this sound now for 3 months i already have

1 Pulled the tranny changed torque converter and made sure the bolts are all tight

2 I have checked for any others external sounds that can lead me to the source none yet

3 currently i got the oil pan down for the second time and so far i have gathered some slight side to side play on pistons 6-7-8 the rod bearings that i pulled out 7 just today i didnt noticed any serious wear or anything odd

I was just wondering if anyone has caught this sound early and have found a solution please help its been tough to do all this on my own and i just want a solution

Sounds only comes during 2 3k rpm and it stops like u heard in the video i have listened in to other rod bearing sounds and they are definitely similar

Silly question guys 🎩

I took it upon myself to replace the torque converter on my 4.7, on the way i tackled painted and assembled a lot, today I miraculously managed to put the y pipe on, shit was a pain to figure out, come to my attention i noticed i didn’t put the inspection dust cover plate for the torque converter bolts i really dont want to remove the y pipe bolts again

ULTIMATELY HAS ANYONE CUT THE DUST COVER/INSPECTION PLATE FOR THE TORQUE CONVERTER BOLTS IN HALF AND PUT EACH SIDE IN THAN MAYBE PB WELD OR MIG WELD IT

IDIOT SPEAKING HERE SORRY BUT THOSE Y PIPES BOLTS ARE A BITCH TO DEAL WITH TRYING ALL THE OPTIONS :)
