Hey! I'm the author of The Wishing Well, which just won two awards at the International Latino Book Awards last weekend, including Best Audiobook.

I've got a few unredeemed codes left for anyone interested. They're free but reviews are greatly, greatly appreciated.

The Wishing Well is a collection of interconnected horror stories centered around an ever-changing bar and the desperate souls within. Each tale follows a different patron, driven by want, ambition, or desperation, who casts an ill-fated wish into the bar's unearthly namesake. And each discovers this well is less a cheap gimmick and more a conduit for twisted fulfillment, as they come to understand the true horror of getting exactly what you wished for.

A heads-up that, while not gratuitous in violence and gore, it does have some implied abuse to children, themes of suicidality, alcoholism, and death.

Excerpt from The Star Rover

To my future forever family,

I'm Stevie Nyx, and though I'm little in size, my heart is an enormity known only in love stories. I was rescued from the hungry gaze of a hawk by a foster parent whose heart I'll always carry in my own, and mine in theirs.

I've known the soft touch of gentle hands, the taste of foods both dry and wet, the joy of springs and strings and feathered things, and now I long to know you.

Here am I, at the APL, and here I wait, with loving heart, here I wait for you.

Always your little shadow.

Always yours,

Stevie
