Struggling with Tank Pool this season

He was my savior season 9... My first choice, he felt great, and 9.5 I can't win a single comp game with him. I know he had the damage fall off shadow nerf with the Hela guns... But that can't be it... Wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or if I'm just running into a string of bad luck. I miss my clutch guy.

So, when do you get to keep your upgrades?

I've noticed that sometimes on the second round I still have my upgrades, and sometimes I don't 🤔 I feel like I should be keeping better track of this, but I haven't 😅 Does anyone know the rhyme or reason why sometimes on the second round you'll have your upgrades? (Ooh, let me throw OT in there as well). I need, like, a handy-dandy guide for this.

I struggle as Tank Pool when there is an enemy DPS Pool

Played a QP ln and there was a Heal Pool, which was fine, I gunned him down lol, but then he swapped to DPS Pool and was targeting me and I... struggled? Tried my shield, dashing him back (that didn't go well :p), tried to b-hop away, and that worked a little bit, but any other Tank Pools have any tips?

Heal Pool's sword ULT line (what does your team hear?)

Silly Q, and I feel like I should know the answer to this 😅

I know what I (and the enemy team) hear: "Hey chat! Someone clip this!" But what does my team hear?

Any tips for countering Blade?

I had a couple of games against Blade today where I kept getting cooked. Maybe it was the games, maybe it was me? I've got my mag bubble, dash, and knock-back cards, but he seemed to be eating me like gumbo. Anyone run into trouble with him or have any advice?

Gambit Team-Up for Heal Pool

I think I prefer the Gambit team-up for Heal Pool. I started with the Gambit team-up, and when it came time to upgrade to Hela, I didn't want to lol. Being more likely to be dived as a healer, you can get out of a rough situation in a pinch or leap to a teammate who might be in trouble and help them (bobblehead depending). I know we're all still learning and figuring stuff out, and I still prefer Hela for Tank/DPS (I'm better versed on tank), but yeah, I think I'm gonna leave the Gambit team-up on when I play Heal Pool. Anyone else have a preference for Heal Pool?

Tank Pool feels good again

I was like... actually killing stuff and making space. Felt good. He can come out again, fellas 😌 I still haven't solo tanked with him yet, which, lbr, doesn't feel good on any character, but our boi is back, baby.

Legendary Deadpool here and embarrassed to say my DPS Pool game is my weakest

I learned Deadpool on Heal Pool, followed by Tank Pool, and slept on DPS Pool forever, partly because everyone was saying he was the worst pool at first, and DPS slots fill up quickly. When I have that max icon on, people expect the moon and back. I see people cooking on DPS Pool, and I want to up my game. Should I take off my max icon (even though I don't want to cuz I twerked my ahh off for that) and practice in some quick play? I want to get those 6-piece McNuggets like I see people post about lol. I've watched some vids and taken notes on the upgrade paths. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Tank Pool Upgrades... a little ramble

My Tank Pool days have dwindled since the nerfs, but when I play him lately, esp with two tanks, I find myself upgrading his dashes first instead of the tried and true ban hammer > dpiya > guns... The dashes are great for annoying the enemy team and survivability, most do not know how to counter you once you start bouncing on their heads :p Yesterday I did dashes and shield first. I haven't been able to get a melt kill with Ban Hammer since the nerfs, so it doesn't feel as important to me to upgrade first... I will pop that shit and annoy them and take them out of the fight for that hot few seconds though and still don't use the sword ult on him.

Just curious what y'all have been doing lately and what's been working?

Who we banning this season?

I'm in plat, so sorry, I'm not high elo LOL, but my default bans for last season were Black Cat and Daredevil. For me, going up against them as Gambit made the game feel largely unplayable. (If I should have been doing something to counter them, please tell me.) But, I played one comp game today and went to ban Black Cat, and one of my teammates was like... really, BC? Is she cooked now after the nerfs? If you've played at all yet or are planning to, who are your bans?

Solo Tank Pool ... yay or nay

I switched to Tank Pool so my solo tank wouldn't have to solo ln, and I ended up as the solo tank. We lost. I'm not blaming my pookie pie, as it could've been 101 things (maybe it was me lol), but just generally curious... has anyone won with Tank Pool solo tanking since the nerfs?

I'm always looking at what I can do better, and some things you just don't realize until you goof :p I had a Star Lord on my team ln and they asked why I didn't Ult together, and I didn't even think about it 🫣 Who should I be looking for on my team to see if we can Ult together? I'm guessing Punisher as well? Thanks for the help! ♠️❤️
