Professors de català: quins recursos feu servir per a classes de conversa

Hola a tots!
La setmana que ve començo a fer classes de conversa de català a un alumne alemany adult. Us volia preguntar si em podeu recomanar recursos per a les classes o donar-me idees.
Gràcies!!

Need advice from teachers in the gulf

Hi everyone,
I’ve been contacted by SABIS for teaching positions in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, or Bahrain, and I’ve been invited to interview.

The opportunity sounds interesting, but I’m honestly feeling nervous because of the current tensions in the Middle East and the news about missile attacks in the region.

I know these countries are generally considered safe and many expat teachers live there, but I’d really appreciate honest advice from people who are currently in the Gulf or have worked for SABIS before.

How safe do you realistically feel living there right now?
Has daily life changed recently because of regional tensions?
What is SABIS actually like as an employer?
Would you still move there in the current situation?

I’d especially love to hear from teachers currently in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, or Bahrain.
Thank you :)

Not sure whether to accept teaching job in Vietnam or wait for other options. Need advice

Hi everyone,
I’m a recent graduate in Primary Education (from Spain) and I’m feeling quite stuck about what to do next.
I’ve applied for registration with the Teaching Council in Ireland, but I’m still waiting and I’m not sure how long it will take or whether it will be
accepted.

At the same time, I’ve been in a recruitment process for a teaching job at an English academy in Vietnam. They want to move forward with a meeting about work permit documents and entry procedures.

I’m now trying to decide:

Should I accept the Vietnam job and gain experience abroad?
Or should I wait and hope for Ireland?

Any advice from people who have been in similar situations would really help.
Thank you.
