29 [M4F] Florida, Maybe the Best Love Story Starts with a Fresh Start
Hello, so here I am at 12 a.m. on a Monday night, giving this a shot because you can’t make a shot you never take… so here goes nothing. 😂
I’m 29, living in Florida, and figured I’d put myself out there and see where this little leap of faith takes me. I’m usually pretty tied up with work, but that doesn’t mean I won’t make time for the right person. When someone matters to me, I make sure they know it, and I believe the people we care about should always feel like a priority.
I’m not really the clubbing or bar-hopping type. I’d much rather spend my time experiencing something new or finding the next adventure. I love traveling to National Parks, going to theme parks (roller coasters are definitely my favorite), exploring new places, trying new foods, and occasionally looking for some random thrill to make a good memory out of.
I love to cook, and I’m always down for a good movie, gaming on my PC, working out, taking a walk-through nature, fishing, camping, or wandering around thrift stores hoping I’ll stumble across something valuable… one day I’ll find that hidden treasure. 😂
For work, I’m a fire alarm technician. It’s something I genuinely enjoy, and thankfully, it keeps the bills paid too.
A couple of years ago, I came out of a 12-year relationship. Over time, we realized that we had grown in different directions and wanted different things for our futures. There was no bitterness or bad blood—we ended things peacefully and mutually agreed that going our separate ways was the best decision for both of us. I’ve made peace with that chapter of my life, learned from it, and moved forward. Now, I feel ready to open my heart again and see what kind of beautiful chapter might come next.
I’m a pretty simple guy who gives his all to the things—and people—I care about. I’m not looking for someone perfect, because I don’t expect perfection from myself either. I’m looking for someone genuine. Someone I can laugh with, talk to for hours, explore the world with, and eventually build something real and lasting with.
Distance doesn’t really scare me either. That’s what planes are for, right? 😂 If I meet someone who feels worth the journey, I’ll happily make the trip.
At the end of the day, I want someone to experience this crazy, beautiful life with. Someone to share the spontaneous adventures with, the quiet nights at home, the random road trips, the deep conversations, the laughter, and all those little moments that somehow become the memories you remember forever.
I’m not looking to rush anything. I’d just like to meet someone, get to know each other, and see where the journey takes us—one conversation, one adventure, and one day at a time.
If you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read all of this. And if something about my post caught your attention, maybe take that shot and say hello.
After all… neither of us can make a shot we never take. ❤️
