I almost have them all

I almost have them all

Slowly over the last year give or take ive been collecting all of Fall Out Boys music. Most recently I added Take This To Your Grave, unfortunately I didn't score it in the case but still awesome to have. I actually bought a book of cds for $20 USD and this was one of the gems I found in there. I saw those prices like 30-40 bucks not to mention the rarer jewel case version thats usually the same price but like $25 extra bucks shipping from the UK. Thought I would never have it I just got really lucky, I believe for main studio albums all I need now is Mania.

For all of my life I have used windows machines mostly dells, but I thought hey variety is the spice of life I wanna try a mac computer. This is mostly because windows is just getting worse by the day, more and more ads and my last computer just started acting up, sometimes is it wouldnt connect to the internet and omg is the rubber coating turning back to oil. I wanted to get a indigo macbook neo 256gb and I had the cash in hand to go buy it, additionally Im also a college student so that knocks the price down. So I went to my local apple store and of course they didnt have the 256gb model, they only had the more expensive 512gb which I didn't want.

Cue the 2012 MacBook Pro I got it off my friend for 10 whole bucks probably a year ago and legitimately it has replaced my Dell. I didnt think it could be this good but this thing has been a gravy boat for me, always reliable and connects to the interent, which is the most important thing I just want it to work. This is the 8gb ram model but I put a bit more in so its 10gb but still it runs good, sure it isn't instantaneous but apps and websites take 1-2 seconds to load. For me this is all I need it can handle the docs, word, excel, Canvas and all the other school programs while also being a good personal device to watch YouTube and other media. Although there are some drawbacks battery life after 14 years is down to 3 ½ hours, using YouTube sub 2 hours, this isnt a huge deal because where do you go nowadays that doesnt have a outlit. Second I wanted to get the Neo because its smaller and lighter this thing is quite literally the opposite its huge, but having the extra screen real-estate is nice.

I think for what I do in my day to say life the Neo would have been way overkill. Everyone was recommending I get the bigger storage model with the fingerprint sensor, first I dont mind typing in passwords and Brave automatically autofills anyway so its not a huge saver of time. Secondly I really dont need that much storage I watch YouTube and do school work people said 256gb would never be enough and currently I have 156gb avaliable out of 256gb.

I know this doesnt work for everyone some majors or jobs require a more powerful computer but with the way im going I wont need to. For me I just saved 500 bucks and I couldnt be happier, bonus I have a CD drive so I ripped all my cds and have a nice library of offline music I cant listen tom

Hello everyone! I had a interesting experience with my Folie a Deux disk and im wondering if anyone else has had this problem. When I first got into CD's I didnt have a dedicated player, I used my Xbox Series X and my computer with a CD drive. Very quickly I noticed with Folie A Deux that the track times were all messed up, like when you would skip to the next song it would be like halfway through it. Its like it was one constant stream of music rather than individual tracks if that makes sense, there was no way of cleanly skipping. Eventually I saw another Folie a Deux disc in person so I thought why not it'll hopefully fix my issue, again no same exact problem. When I finally got a dedicated cd player (Panasonic) it worked perfectly, skipping tracks perfect always started at the correct place and time. Im thinking modern stuff probably has more its trying to do with the disc rather than just reading it unlike a cd player which just sends it. Thats why I have two of these cds, great album but I dont need two lol.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, I would love to hear it if so!

Ive been trying to get off the internet so hard recently, I feel like every reel or YT short I watch dumbs me down even more. A couple things ive done is turning the YT shorts timer to 0 minutes so they hardly show up and when they do you can basically only watch one. While instagram sucks, sometimes when you open YouTube a short will pop up immediately. Ive also been using older Ipods because music is really important to me, I have a couple older ones but right now im rocking a Iphone XR. I ripped a whole bunch of cds and transfered them, no Sim card and no apps downloaded so I still have the convience of Bluetooth.

The thing I cant get past is YouTube I can absolutely get by without Instagram but I dont watch movies or TV shows YouTube is where I consume content. I just like having something on in the background or if im doing nothing I just watch YouTube. Ive been doing it for so many years its just hard to kick the habit. It also just sucks to feel like you need to have you phone on you at all times. Im in college rn and when I look up from my phone I see everyone looking at there phones in deathly silent hallways it feels dystopian.

All this to say I want help I want some tips on how to reduce my time on the internet. Unfortunately I dont really have that many on hand hobbies I enjoy reading, and Video games but thay doesn't help obviously. But yeah any tips or tricks you got I would greatly appreciate it.
