I have an inseam invisible zip, and I want to be able to make the puller hidden. Other than sewing it away from the stitch line, then hand sewing by hand on the body - is there a way I can hide the puller? Perhaps a lightweight zip would help. I have used blue zip on this trial to make it obvious, on the real version I would use matching colour
Hello, can anyone give me any advice on how to improve this jacket for an elderly lady, specifically the undercut collapsing and the left sleeve that has the excess at the front - I am thinking to reduce the front on the upper part, making the shoulder length 1-1.5cm shorter, perhaps taking in the waist somewhat? Perhaps also scooping the sleeve head more on the front (on the more problematic left sleeve)
Can anyone help me solve this problem, you can see excess under the armpit. In the second picture you can see I have pinned the excess, but taking in this way from the pattern would affect the armhole shape/ length.
Perhaps the armhole is too low already? Or I could pivot the excess and take it from the princess seam?
The jacket is for an older lady which might explain the problem arisen from a block jacket pattern
