The only way I can get into my account currently is logging in through gmail

I don't know what happened but password resets no longer work, reddit is prompting me to add an email address, but when I go to do so need to log in with a password, which cannot be reset.

I can still log in through gmail with the gmail address my account is/was/should be tied to, and I'm not sure what to do.
