BTF LED lighting strip help

Hi Everyone,

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on the topic.

I purchased this BTF-LIGHTING 16.4FT RGB kit from Amazon. I then purchased some splitters because I needed the lights to go in two different directions from the power source. The kit came with 4PIN Clip connector and a wire cable that I used to have the longer section of the LED go in and out of a hole (because it required bending).

I cannot get the strip to light. I ordered new parts, thinking that it might be the clip connector or the cable, but it just doesn't work.

I've tried flipping the strip around and connecting it in different ways; I've tried using a different part of the strip that was leftover on the spool.

Still, nothing. I am not an electrician, and I know nothing about doing this. But it shouldn't be this complicated, right?

2008 toyota prius cat shield vandalism question.

Hey everyone, this morning some guys tried to saw through my cat shield. I had it installed in 2022. They managed to saw the back end before giving up and driving off. I cant tell if the saw cut beyond the shield.

Should I get the shield replaced/fixed? My deductible is $100, wondering if it's worth the trouble.

I'm afraid they might try and come back.

"The Horror" is a 160-page, 8.5" x 11" perfect-bound book featuring a curated collection of theatrical horror movie posters and select VHS cover art from 1980–1985. The book includes full-page images, large-scale spreads, and visual tributes to some of my favorite horror films from the era.

This has been a passion project years in the making, inspired by growing up with video stores, horror magazines, and the artwork that first drew me into the genre.
