Books that feel like the show, "Yellowjackets".
Be it horror, mystery/thriller, or a combination of the two.
Who should be my lead?
Going up against Jupiter in Eterna City. This is my current team line up. Kadabra also knows Thief and Budew knows Grass Knot. Trying to decide who I should have lead the team and/or who I should have as my aces since she has a Skuntank.
Season 5, how do we feel about? If we got the chance what would you have done differently?
SPOILERS FOR SEASON 5 of OUAT
So this is meant to be a friendly discussion about season 5 (both A & B) of Once Upon a Time. Personally, if I was ranking my favorite seasons/arcs of this show, the bottom 3 would be as follows: 5B, 5A, and season 7. Now I know that I’m sure there are people that absolutely love one for both of these seasons over others. Great, I love that for you. However, season five for me it was like and I accept the show for what it is like I think we all do, but for me season five is the season to me that had so much potential to be good whereas, again, maybe just for me, yes, season seven took a swing and tried to do something different almost a spinoff as it were with all the same actors more or less playing themselves, but also different versions of themselves, but if I’m being very honest, it was just too confusing to follow and that’s coming from a fan of the show. But again, if you love it, I’m happy for you.
Getting back to the topic at hand, I thought that you know the finale of season four was really good. It left me wanting more, but I feel like the writers bit off more than they could handle with the whole Emma being The Dark One, I thought the concept was really interesting and I did like the flashbacks portion of the past when everybody was in Camelot and you can see, you know the whole plot line with you know Arthur, Emma struggling with the darkness, Killian especially but of course everyone supporting her; that stuff was really well done, but it was when it was brought back to the present that I feel like they just didn’t know what to do and I in no way blame or I’m calling out Jennifer Morrison. I think the writers just did not give her much to do and/or gave her any direction, and I think she did the best under the circumstances. And then, while I think slightly more interesting, I think 5B with The Underworld arc kind of paid for a lot of what was a result from 5A and I think that it again could’ve been done differently.
So here’s my question to everybody and again if you are a fan of season five, I’d love to hear why? What worked for you? What you thought was done well? However, I would love to hear like if you could do things differently, if at all, what would they be? And again, like we still had Dark One, Emma and even potentially Dark One, Killian, and the Underworld arc.
Once Upon a Time Funko Pops
Recently rediscovered OUAT and needed to get these since I missed out on them the first time.
KU Recommendations
Hello, I’m looking for suggestions for books on KU. I’m currently in a reading slump and I’m kind of giving myself a little challenge to read more books on KU. I’m kind of in a thriller/horror/or romance mood. I am hoping to get more into sci-fi, but I’m open to any recommendations.
Ranking Favorite to Least Favorite Seasons/Story Arcs
I realize I may be opening Pandora's Box with this post, but I like to know what everyone's favorite to least favorite seasons are and/or whether you want to rank them by story arcs (ex. 2A/2B or if you want to just say 1, 2, 3... (from seasons 1-7). This is not meant to make anyone feel bad for liking or not liking a certain season or arc more than the other. I am just generally curious, and if you want to say why you liked a certain season or arc or even why one didn't resonate with you in a respectful way I'd love to read why and maybe even see discussions because, at the end of the day we're all fans of this show, the good, the bad, and the what could have been done better.
Plot hole or a reminder: Hook & the Jolly Roger
Hey quick question for anybody that can remember we all know the big moment at the end of season three when Emma says “ you traded your ship for me” to Killian/Hook as she learns, he traded the jolly Roger for a magic bean to come and save her the jolly Roger ends up, showing up later in the series. I was just wondering if anybody can remember how Killian gets it back?
CaptainSwan (Hook & Emma)
This post is to just chat about CaptainSwan(assuming you’ve watched the whole series because of spoilers). What do we love about them? Favorite moments? Quotes? Head-canons that we didn’t get to see in between the show or post show?
Favorite quotes from OUAT
You don't have to say why they are your favorite, but I would love to hear. They can be funny, heartfelt, and there is no limit.
Who are Some Characters You Would've Liked to have seen in OUAT? What role would they have played?
Hey everyone, been doing a rewatch of the show and I don't know why but I've been thinking a lot about how the show unfortunately chose to cut a lot of characters out of the main story and they basically were just there in the background like Ruby, but I've also been thinking of characters that would've been cool to have even if it was a small/brief role.
What's a deleted scene you wish was kept in the show?
Pretty much what the question asks. I've watched through most, if not all, of the deleted scenes on YT, and I will say there are some that, if included, would've been nice to have in the show, for extra context and/or character additions.
I will say the one that immediately comes to mind is part of the hospital scene in season 2 where Hook makes it to Storybrooke and he escapes his room and he found jello and is like "What is this?" I think he also says he thought it was a hallucination.
What Do My Top 5 Favorite Characters from Once Upon a Time Say About Me?
Now I know almost all of these characters have baggage, to say the least, but I choose to remember these characters not for the poor decisions/actions the writers made them make, but overall what they grew into and even what they had potential to be if the show had been in the hands of better writers, if that makes any sense. So be kind, but honest.
Michael had feelings for Chloe?
So I just had this random thought: does anyone think Michael developed legit feelings for Chloe? Just curious about other people's opinions.
