Alien movies
I need some recommendations for some good scary alien movies. I love Dark Skies, Signs and No one is coming for you. Something that has good jump scares is a plus.

I got cleared to walk in my boot last week. Today i had a dr appt then went to the store to buy new shoes. I didn't walk that far, through a parking lot and around a building. My lower back is killing me though. Anyone have similar experiences?
I'm just over 10 weeks post op for trimal fracture with ligament tear. Got the ok to walk in my boot for 2-3 weeks a few days ago, then transition to shoes. Bought some Asics today and love them. I tried them on both feet and was able to walk in both of them in shoe store! Looking forward to walking in them totally in a few weeks.. Every little bit of progress helps;
I got cleared to walk in my boot for a couple of weeks before transitioning to shoes. 10 weeks out from trimal fracture. I have 12 concrete stairs outside my apartment and was scared to try them. I did it today with no problem! Coming up took a bit longer and was harder than down but I made it with just the railings for assistance. So proud of myself. Now I can finally get around and go to my appointments without the fire department special stair wheelchair. Yeah for small victories.
I had my check up today at 10 weeks post orif for trimaller break. I got cleared to walk in the boot for 2-3 weeks and weight bearing as tolerated. I'm so excited it finally came. I tried stairs in my boot and walked up and down 4 of them. It was actually easy. I've been dreading stairs but think I'll be ok.
Starting back on physical therapy this week after a 3 week break. They wanted to wait until I was walking to save my appointments.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. I'm proof!

I just read that there's a new Blair witch movie coming out on September 24, 2027. Long Way away but can't wait!

I get cleared to walk this next Tuesday and I'm so excited, after 10 weeks finally, from a tri break/ligament tear. I've really missed taking baths. I'm wondering about getting up from the seated tub though, how my ankle will handle that.

Does anyone have any experience with this? When did you stop using a bath chair also and start standing in the shower?

How hard is walking again?

I'm 9 weeks post op for trimalleour break with ligament tear. I get the green light for walking in 1 walk. Surgeon said he will want me walking in the boot for one week before I transition to shoes.

My foot is still really tight on the top when I'm flexing forward and backward and it feels like it wouldn't even hold my weight if I tried to stand on it.

How long does it take to get back to walking in shoes comfortably? Is it normal for my foot to still be so tight and feel like it won't hold my weight? I've tried a few times to just stand and put some weight on it and it just doesn't feel right.

Also how are stairs? I have 12 concrete stairs to get up and down from my apartment building that I'll have to do everyday when I get back to work. I'm not going to rush myself on getting back to work full time as I deliver groceries and don't know how it will be being on my feet all day.

Thanks

I am almost cleared for weight bearing (10 days to go!) and plan to start swimming. What are some tips or exercises to do in the pool? Had trimalleour break with ligament tear in April.
Is it just me that the 2 actors playing these women as adults look exactly the same??
I'm 7 weeks post orif for tri malleour break and still have 18 days left nwb. I'm li had just started a gym routine when i broke my ankle and am anxious to get back in when I'm back on my feet.
Any suggestions? I like the stationary bike and know that's good for a break. I also like doing seated leg lifts and other leg machines but probably thinking I should lay off those for awhile?
I will ask my dr when I see them again in 3 weeks for release to bear weight but wanted other people's experiences.
Thanks
I saw my surgeon today for 6 week follow-up after surgery for a tri -break and ligament tear. I have two long screws going horizontally at the bottom of my foot and he told me that eventually those will break. He said it could be 6 months or 6 years or even longer. He said it will probably be pretty painful for a couple of weeks when it happens but that it usually always happens, as those screws aren't meant to hold up weight and constant movement for super long periods.
Has anyone ever had screws break like that?
Has anyone washed the removal pad in their air cast? Mine is starting to smell after 5 1/2 weeks. I'm just wondering how long it takes to air dry. I read not to put it in the dryer because it can shrink. Any tips on odor control greatly appreciated. I have another almost 5 weeks left.
So what I'm looking for is really good horror that will make me jump, scream and hide behind my pillow. Lol. Like creatures or monsters that you Don't see but you know they're there and they jump out and get you. Something to make me have nightmares! (Although I have nightmares every night regardless.)
(Rec) Is one that does that to me for example.
The list I've seen on here for a movie suggestions have been great. I've put a lot of them down in my to watch list.
I had surgery a month ago for triple break. Is it normal for the incision site to still be numb to the touch? Unless I bump it, then it hurts like a mo-fo! The incisions are 99% healed. I've never had a major surgery so don't know if it's normal?
How long did it take for your surgery would to close? I'm 3 1/2 weeks post op and got staples out a week ago and steri strips put on. I'm just wondering how long before it starts to heal, as the wounds are still pretty open at this point.
