Do people wear crochet-sleeves?

I've been seeing sweatshirts and t-shirts with crocheted sleeves or crochet panel details, and I've made a few.

Do you own one:

How often do you wear it?

What do you like or dislike about it?

Do you find it comfortable and practical?

If you don't own one:

Is it something you'd wear?

What would make it appealing (or unappealing) to you?

I'd love your opinion. I'm a crocheter and enjoy upcycling, combining fiber art with everyday clothing, and I'm wondering whether this is something people actually enjoy wearing or if it's more of an "admire it online" type of item. Thanks!

What yarn do you wish you had discovered sooner, and what made it special for you?

For years, I wandered through skeins of acrylic, wool blends, and novelty fibers, always searching for the yarn that felt like home in my hands.

Then I discovered mercerized cotton.

The first thing I noticed was the shine—like sunlight resting on a quiet pond. The second was how clearly it showed every stitch. No fuzzy halo to hide my mistakes, but no need to hide them either. It challenged me to become a better maker.

I love the crisp stitch definition, the strength of the fiber, and the way finished pieces seem to carry both beauty and purpose. Dishcloths, bookmarks, bags, dog accessories, and gifts all seem to come alive when worked in mercerized cotton.

It's become my favorite yarn to work with, and now I find myself reaching for it again and again.

What crochet gift have you made that was unexpectedly loved?

I recently realized some of my favorite gift projects weren't the ones I expected people to use the most. Book sleeves, bookmarks, and fingerless gloves have been surprisingly popular with my nieces and nephews.

What crochet gift have you made that turned out to be a bigger hit than expected?
