Play the long game. 24.6 pounds down

I’m a 5’4 26F and have lost almost 25 pounds and still trying to lose more. The key for me is logging MyFitnessPal every single day, spending the time to calculate (realistically) my bmr, tdee, and upping my activity. I’m not perfect at all, but I keep up with tracking and activity. I have switched my mindset and prioritize consistency. Smaller sustained efforts long term last so much longer than perfect record for a short amount of time. You can’t demand the perfection and I have ignored the bs of “losing x weight in x amount of weeks”. I started walking more then ramping up to the gym, my job is active so that does help, but I don’t also go to the gym every week even though I’d like to. I aim for just getting outside and being active even if it doesn’t raise my heart rate too much. I’ve improved mentally from getting outside. Download iNaturalist or Merlin bird id, go for a walk, and take pictures of the things you may find or record the sounds of birds. It helps break up monotony and encourages a goal, also, for working out and being active, music, specifically edm realllly helps me pump up and feel motivated. I notice I feel more active when I listen to fast paced and or upbeat in the morning. I love the slower stuff too, but starting your day on fast pace or pump up music helps you fake it till you make it. But these are things that just help me. I also NEVER deprive myself and say I’ll never eat x again, it doesn’t work for me personally I just make little choices like nah I won’t have this now but I’ll treat myself tomorrow or later with a choice and just limit myself to specific amount. Of course my brain goes damn I want more, but I say to myself I will have more, I just space it out. You can do this and the fact you’re here and reading this means you are capable and are in a step to progress.

You can say wow it’ll take me over a year where I want to be, but if you don’t start now or even soon then a year could pass and you could still be years from your goal, at least a year from now you’d be a lot closer than you were before.

But either way, chase and embrace the positives when you can. It’s not easy, and there’s days I feel like I’ve failed, but ultimately I haven’t, and by playing the long game, going slow and steady, you’re much much more likely to keep it off as you’re building habits to form a lifestyle and live in a body you feel you worked hard for and feel confident to be in.

I’m proud of you stranger and I wish all of you the best in your journey.

Guidance?? Help??

I had my first fitting and my dress and sleeves are just so disappointing I cried. My waist does not look snatched at all and I’m so disappointed, especially after losing weight. I guess I feel extremely disappointed. The response does not offer guidance I feel is necessary, is it possible to help make this dress what it looked like? I’m genuinely so upset and I am looking for some sort of fix, I feel like a waist stay would really help, but also I have no clue I’m not tailor. I just feel really insecure now. I had to keep pulling up the dress at the tailor appointment.
The first two pics are from when I first tried it on, the second two are from the fitting. I sent an email to the dress company, and the response follows. The waist stay I remember from the store is similar to what is in the screenshot, and this is what the back looks like, because I really don’t want to mess up the detailing. I feel like I’m overreacting, but I don’t feel beautiful, especially since I have taken painstaking effort to get my body to a place where I feel confident.

Is this dress flattering or could I do better?

Dress is for a bachelorette trip. The dress has this weird bodysuit component where it is to short for my torso and pull down the dress if snapped, it’s unbuttoned. I’m feeling lazy and don’t really want to return the dress, and it is growing on me. Thanks for any advice and opinions!!
