Correlation between healthy anxiety and fear/feeling of not living a long life (TW discussions about dying)

I feel like the main reason why my health anxiety started in the first place is because of just a feeling that I was going to >!d*3!< early in life. Every benign or normal feeling that I have I automatically assume the worst because of this. I just never envision myself with a family or like a normal adult life so I just assume I’m not going to experience it. This may be really morbid, but do any of you guys relate to this feeling?

Mole on sternum/ chest

I have had this mole for a while. It has gotten slightly larger since a year. It doesn’t itch or bleed. I’m probably going to get a dermatology appointment anyways, but do you think this mole is worrying enough to ask for a sooner appointment. All the other appointments are months away 😓I’m a 19 female btw

Small dot/ mole looking thing that appeared on the side of breast

This mole/dot appears on the side of my breast. I think it may have gotten slightly larger from a week ago but I don’t really know? The inside or main part of this dot looks red. It has been worrying me. I’ve been thinking of booking a dermatology appointment but all the available appointments are months away. Do you think this matter is urgent or do you think I can just wait? Does it look malignant? I know a picture can’t tell much I just want to know what my next plan of action should be. I’m a 19f btw. Thank you so much!

What to do when health anxiety s-mptoms arise

I’ve been going through a bad flare up with physical s-mptoms the past three weeks. What helps me the most is to realize if s-mptoms happen randomly within a short amount of time, the likelihood of it being a dangerous illness (you know what I’m talking about) is very unlikely because it takes time/ months to progress. Like those types of s-mptoms do not show up within days, so stop worrying!! The answer for your s-mptoms is likely something less alarming. This may not make sense, but this is what helps me cope during bad ha flare ups!

Late severe scoliosis diagnosis

Hey guys. I’ve been very lost and distraught the past few days. I just got diagnosed with severe scoliosis at age 19 and I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon by my PCP. Every single time I got a physical done in high school they observed it and it was said it was nothing to worry about, and they said I didn’t need an x ray. I just got one done and it’s really severe. I’m so scared. I really don’t want surgery, and I know I’m too old now and suffer a greater risk of complications. Also, I suffer almost zero pain from it. I don’t want to get surgery, because I’m so scared of the potential pain and complications. Is there any way I can delay progression and “correct” it without surgery? Every single place I look sources claim that surgery is the only real option. I don’t think I’m mentally nor physically strong enough to undergo it right now. Any support and encouragement is much appreciated!! (Also I’m a female btw!!)
