Silence is treason
when the law a lie
Hearts bleeding in legion
all seeking to find
healing and peace
a voice moved to speak
Millions in unison
screaming in grief
The truth is ignored
so grief turns to rage
It seeps in the wounds
like salt in the veins
They can rewrite the stories
and recast the stage
destroy all the books
tear out every page
erase all the words
but the truth leaves a stain
And it sets off the spark
that ignites the flame
that incites the riot
that runs thru our veins

to reverse time and space
re-trace all my steps
write what can't be erased
I’d follow my veins
like a map
to the graves
of ideas that died
before they hit the page

It gives me a place to click to verify my age, but when I click it I get an error message. Same thing happened to my sister. Is this happening to anyone else?
