I couldn't find anything on Google and am not sure if this is simply not a thing or if I just haven't discovered a way. If there is a way I'll probably bless the subreddit with a few photoshoots
I got the idea a few days ago because of my charger situation. I have two phones, one android and one old iPhone. My magnetic charger broke and my iPhone's charging port is worn down really badly, so it's essentially dead until I can either buy a new charger (boring route that everyone else does, not the goal) or become the smart phone Frankenstein, which is the goal. I don't really care about how difficult it would be, just if it's possible without wrecking my phone.
I bought a magnetic charger in January of this year because I broke a charger and had to replace it. Now it suddenly won't charge. I use it to charge my iPhone 8 since the charging port is absolutely wrecked from rubbing against chargers. I had no problems except for the occasional time where it would go on and not charge but that was mostly me just not placing it correctly. This time it won't detect anything whatsoever. It glows when I plug it in, so it obviously has power, but it won't respond to the phone. I don't know if I was wrong to assume that the box would contain a working charger just because it said charger, if I just got junk, or if there's another problem I'm missing.
I swear there’s a backstory and reason for this, but if I say then that may skew results. What’s your method?
