47F, 9 months post lip lift with Dr Greg Bran in London. Very happy overall, scar included

I had a lip lift with Dr Greg Bran in August 2025 in London £6k total including follow-up appointments and some red light therapy sessions to help the scar heal.

Overall I’m really happy with the result. My philtrum was quite long before and I felt like my upper lip disappeared a bit when my face was relaxed, which I think becomes more noticeable with age. The surgery gave me a nicer balance without looking “done” or overfilled. From normal conversational distance the scar is basically invisible now. No one has ever asked me if I had surgery and most people can’t tell anything changed, which was what I wanted.

Recovery-wise, I was not the ideal patient. I was laughing, talking a lot, making exaggerated facial expressions pretty early on and I definitely felt the scar pulling during healing, so I was convinced at some points I had ruined it. Despite that, it healed much better than I expected.

The close-up scar photos are brutal and humbling under phone camera macro mode, but I wanted to post them because most lip lift posts are either filtered, blurry, or taken far away. In real life it’s much softer and harder to notice. The redness continued improving for months.

I also did red light therapy which I think helped calm the scar down a bit, although time was probably the biggest factor.

For anyone considering it: I think lip lifts improvements are subtle but changes facial harmony more than fillers ever did for me. It’s not one of those surgeries where people immediately say you look different, it’s more like the effects gravity are not as visible anymore.

edit: I have added teeth exposure and smile photos in the comments for those who are curious enough t scroll and check these out too, for some reason I can't add more photos to the post.

JMM Kellerman Rep Review From Janie

Just received my JMM Kellerman from Janie and I really like it . Ordered on April 29 and they arrived May 16, so just a bit over 2 weeks to the UK including prescription varifocal lenses. Paid 85 USD for the frame + 85 USD for transparent varifocal lenses, total 170 USD.

The frame feels properly substantial and sturdy. The acetate has look thick and expensive to me, and the deep translucent green color looks better in person than in the seller photos. The metal core details on the temples look super clean too.

I don’t own authentic JMM, so I can’t do a 1:1 comparison, but they don’t scream replica to me. The finishing looks great, hinges too, weight feels premium, and the prescription/varifocal transition felt comfortable straight away. I was expecting a bit of a battle adapting to the lenses, but it’s been smooth.

Also wanted to mention Janie was lovely to deal with. Quick replies, patient with prescription details, sent updates without me chasing, and overall just very easy communication.

Tom Ford replica with transition varifocals from Janie

Picked these Tom Ford reps up from Janie and wanted to leave a review because I’m very impressed. She didn’t ask me to write this.

Ordered around April 29th and they arrived pretty quickly considering they’re custom prescription progressive/varifocal lenses with transition coating.

The quality is great. The frame feels sturdy and substantial, not light or plasticky at all, and the hinges/details are very well done. I own several authentic Tom Ford glasses and if someone handed me these without packaging, I wouldn’t question them. The box is probably the only thing that gives it away, but who really cares about that.

The transition lenses work properly in sunlight and the progressive lenses were done surprisingly well too. No noticeable distortion or adjustment issues.

I’m not 100% sure of the exact Tom Ford model name, but it’s one of the chunky round acetate styles.

Also, Janie was super attentive throughout the whole process and replied very quickly whenever I had questions.

W2C Schiaparelli Jacket + miu miu raffia Hat

Hi guys, does anyone know a good TS/source for this jacket and hat? Thank you ☺️

PS: I’ve already checked with my usual sellers and looked through a lot of albums but couldn’t find the jacket anywhere. I found the hat from a few sellers, though the quality didn’t look amazing, so I thought I’d ask here in case anyone has seen better versions around!

Review of my Lindberg Morten reps from Janie

I ordered these Lindberg Morten reps from Janie on April 29 and they arrived today (May 16) in London with prescription progressive lenses already installed. Total was around $75 for the frame + special progressive lenses, which feels insane considering comparable pairs here cost me easily 3x more.

The model is the LINDBERG Morten from the Air Titanium Rim line, the ultra minimal round/panto shape with the signature spiral hinge detail.

First impression: these things are incredibly light. The titanium style construction feels premium, the gold tone is beautiful and soft instead of fake yellow, and the overall finishing surprised me. The proportions and engineering are very convincing compared to authentic Lindbergs I’ve tried in opticians.

The progressive prescription lenses were my biggest concern because cheap progressives can be blurry but these are actually really good. Smooth transition zones, no major distortion, and I adjusted almost immediately.

Replica-wise, I think these look excellent. Maybe someone deeply obsessed with Lindberg and holding them side by side might spot differences, but in real-world wear they absolutely pass the vibe check, if someone told me these were authentic in a boutique, I wouldn’t question it. Authentic Mortens retail for around £500+ before prescription lenses, depending on configuration.

Also need to praise Janie because she was amazing through the whole process. Super fast replies, really attentive with prescription details and measurements, patient with all my questions, and constantly updated me during production/shipping.

Overall I’m extremely impressed. Probably one of my best rep purchases so far.”
