I don’t know what to do with it

I don’t know what to do with it

I basically cycle through chopping and growing out my hair. The longest was to my butt in my teens and the shortest cut was to my chin. I’m 5 months postpartum and it’s currently about waist length. I’m getting annoyed with how long it takes to dry, but I’m enjoying the length. I recently found a couple products that are helping with tangles and general routine and breakage, but I’m not sure what I want to do from here. Last trim/cut was fall of last year.

I think about light layers because it’s heavy and thick but I don’t know. I also am tempted to push past this desire to cut and see how long it will get since this is the longest in maybe 20 years.

What do you actually do with your hair to enjoy the length?

First time day care mom - 3.5 month old

My baby girl starts day care at a center this week and I’m so anxious. I have two older children but my mom watched my oldest and my second went to an in home daycare part time around 8-9 months and I stayed home before that. I’m really struggling with it and could use some advice/help. I quit pumping a couple weeks ago but we’ve been giving her 50/50 formula and frozen breast milk and will keep doing that until I run out and then it’ll be 100% formula. I feel uncertain about how many bottles to send.

I’m so anxious about her crying and needing attention, or just the change. She’s so little still! Can anyone give advice or just help my anxiety? I asked my husband to do drop off because if I do it I think it’ll be too hard for me.

Back to work tomorrow…

Almost 9 weeks postpartum - had to eat more leave than I planned prior to birth because of pre-e. I can’t stop crying. This is my third baby, and I’m fairly sure my last and I’m so sad. I feel so much more confident as a mom. My oldest is an upcoming senior and the contrast between so many “lasts” for her and firsts for this one is breaking my heart. My middle child is also in a time intensive phase with mental health struggles (middle school sucks!) and I wish I had a year to focus on them. My own health is in the toilet from a rough pregnancy.

It’s just so hard. I like my job, and I’ve never seen myself as a stay at home mom…but these are rough years and I wish I could soak it all up. Volunteer and be involved with my oldest for her lasts, make sure my middle gets extra care and attention, and be there for my littlest while she’s vulnerable and growing.

This sucks. 💔💔
