Planning a trip to Cancun

Hey everyone, I’m planning a trip to Cancún in June. I don’t want to stay directly in the hotel/party zone, so I found an Airbnb that’s more in the city area (see photo). I’ve already checked and it looks like it would take about 20–30 minutes by bus to get to the beaches from there.

I have a few questions about this:
1.Is it possible to access all beaches for free?
2.Are the beaches generally very crowded?
3.Is the area generally safe for a young woman? I don’t plan on going out at night.

I’m mostly looking for a calm beach/city vacation and would love to experience Mexican culture and food is Cancún the right place for that?

Hallo liebe Leute,

ich mache diesen Monat meinen ersten Solo Trip nach Zürich und freue mich schon sehr. Was sagt ihr, sind Must Haves, die man in Zürich unbedingt besuchen (gerne auch Restaurants) sollte?

Auf meiner Liste stehen schon ganz oben das FIFA Museum, das Museum Rietberg sowie das Kunsthaus und das Schweizerische Nationalmuseum. Die Fahrt mit der Polybahn und die Aussicht nehme ich auch gerne mit. 😁

Was Restaurants angeht habe ich mir bisher nur das “Le Relais de l'Entrecote” notiert.
