Finished Slave Knight Gael Cosplay

I’ve worked on this cosplay for two straight months and handmade everything aside from the beard I trimmed myself. The chest lights up, and I forgot to put on the bandage wraps, but I still think it looks pretty great. This was my second cosplay and I wanted to dedicate it to one of my all time favorite games. Gaels boss battle was for sure one of the best in the series, had the pacing of the dancer with way more danger.

Slave knight Gael cloak

I’m making a slave knight Gael cosplay and I just finished sewing and hand embroidering his cloak/cape. It’s not finished as I need to paint some skulls floating around on it, but it is as done as it will be for a while and wanted to share. The sewing and embroidering probably took around 40-45 hours total. It was my first time sewing, and also first time embroidering over foam. It certainly had its challenges, but I’ve had lots of practice getting close threads on jackets I’ve embroidered before.

Tried to bleach paint a t-shirt for one of my favorite games.

I’m not as happy with my free handed writing, but I think everything else turned out pretty well for a first attempt. I still have the back to add Esquie and Monoco to.
