I'm excited to introduce Local Co-Op mode on iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS, with the latest version of v2.11.

Local Co-Op lets you run up to 4 streaming sessions at the same time on a single device. Mix and match any supported platforms — PlayStation remote play, Xbox remote play, PlayStation cloud gaming, Xbox cloud gaming — all running side by side.

How it works:

• Solo switching: Use one controller to jump between sessions. Great for keeping multiple games or services ready without leaving the couch.
• Play together: Connect additional controllers and invite friends to play alongside you. Everyone gets their own session on the same device.

Whether you're on iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, Local Co-Op is built into the same native Portal experience you already know — designed and crafted for each platform natively and beautifully.

Portal is officially available on tvOS!

Portal on Apple TV is built from the ground up for the living room. Every screen, focus state, and interaction follows Apple's tvOS design language, so it feels right at home on the big screen. The UI is laid out for distance viewing, navigation is tuned for the Siri Remote and game controllers, and performance is optimized for long streaming sessions on your TV.

Portal brings together everything you already use for game streaming: PlayStation & Xbox remote play, PlayStation & Xbox cloud gaming services.
