Looking for advice
hello, I am completely new to this game and after watching a 5 min tut and getting my ass beat for 5 hours on the lowest difficulty while playing senator I wanted to ask for general tips/guides.
Also if there are mods which bring improvements (quality of life) to the game.
I still do not know what my senate guy does, like I have never got to see a library (and only saw the capital once and lost shortly after) and couldnt proclaim myself as emp, also his scaling into the late game feels so off, when my AI opp with the lowest difficulty can apparently summon big creatures and/or be immune to physical damage. While I have to pray that random ass inv groups dont take my ressources. like whats the senats plan here in that situation? i just bought mostly ballistas/catapults/cheap frontline and every mage on sale and it still feels so weak to whatever the hell the necromancer is doing. Am I missing something?
any advice appreciated!!
edit: thank you for your advices, didnt know catapults dont do anything in non siege battles.
