aqua air cooler setup help

as you might know we'd be moving from garnet to aqua this sem, we'd be needing air coolers... SENIORS how did y'all manage the logistics to carry the air coolers all the way to your room, also its worse coz my room is in the third floor 😭 (is it really that bad as they say?)

also what's the best type of air cooler to buy, coz when I visited aqua I saw air coolers of all sizes, ranging from a small table top ones to bigass man sized ones...

My First PCB

So this is my first shot at designing PCBs on my own, I tried to make an Active RC-LPF with an unit gain buffer so that the filter isn't affected by i/p or o/p loads' impedances. Well, there might be a lot of rookie mistakes, but idk if there's a better place to ask and correct!

Yeah one error is that I think I used the wrong footprint for the 01x01 conn pins, it's just that I couldn't find the right 3d model for the footprint I chose, coz I imported the 3d models from a 3rd party site.

Also one other doubt I have here is that how to predict the track width here, as track width depends on current, we can't determine it unless we know what's the input voltage is right?

tqvm gng!

Spider EE Subdomains Competition

How are the competition for each subdomain in Spider EE- Embedded, Digital, Analog. From how many people select which subdomain during induction process to how rigorous each domains are and how good each domains are. I'd like to just know about these things before they might ask to choose one of the subdomains after task 1

came across a really interesting problem - my approach

So yeah I'm relatively new to the domain of Digital Electronics, I was trying to solve this particular question:

Design and implement a 4-bit FSM-based sequence generator that cycles through the decimal digits 5 → 3 → 2 → 1 repeatedly, outputting one digit per state. Each digit is then encoded into its 2421 BCD representation using a combinational encoder, and the resulting 4-bit code is shifted out serially, MSB first, one bit per clock cycle.

My attempt

I'm stuck at the signal generation stage. Here is my progress, I think its very hard to explain it by words, but I'm attaching the pic.
I'd be really grateful if someone can help me solve this! I've been breaking my head for the whole day still no good. As you can see there is no o/p, I suspect it is some race condition disturbing my thing. But, please do look in

Idk man i just finished 2nd sem and in these spider inductions groups and many others I get spammed by a shit ton of summer internship links. The guy who sent those stuff wont even be the group admin.

Are these even legit? Who gives a btechtard an internship who's just got done with his freshman year.

So guys, I'm a fresher from NIT Trichy (India) who used to play cricket (fast bowler) before, and I had to give it up for JEE. But, since then even though I couldn't play, I still follow the analytic parts- stats, matchups, trends, everything (I love Jarrod Kimber's and Cricket by JB's shows)

*Please be patient and go thru till the end as I'm trying to build the idea systematically*

One **peculiar trend** all of us would have noticed even if we had followed cricket for quite a while is the **amount of stress fractures that occur among young pacers**. They burst on to the big stage, and soon before they could give a long lasting impact to their teams, they fade away and because of what? stress fractures.

We all know the popular cases of **Mayank Yadav** and **Varun Aaron**, the recurring case of **Kyle Jamieson**, and even this IPL, **Kartik Tyagi** had just recovered from a stress based injury too.

I'm really **baffled** how a bowler's **bowling action is ignored** up until they arrive to the big stages like the IPL. Look at the amount of talent we're losing. **The bowler is never the same after a stress based injury**, they become nearly half as exciting as they were before it. And imagine the bowling arsenal of the national teams if they could mitigate these injuries from the start...

That is exactly what I'm trying to **fix**. I'm planning to build a device (My 2nd sem just got over and I'm in my sem break) which is mostly a **wearable** (similar to **Catapult Vector**) which would be especially designed to **mitigate stress fractures** for fast bowlers.

My first prototype would contain **IMUs** to collect measurements that'd be used to **calculate the stress** on your **shoulder** and **lower back** and **impact from your foot** to your back when you **brace** it while bowling. By using this data I can formulate an algorithm that calculates how much **efficient** your bowling action is, how **prone** you are to **stress related injuries** and what you can **tweak in your bowling action** to make it better (it'd be generated based on the areas where stress is higher and undistributed throughout the bowling action)

**How is it different from Catapult Vector?** Well, Vector is used for **workload management** and yes to an extent it does act as a great tool to monitor how your body responds and **can be used by any cricketer**. But, my device would be **specifically designed** for the very purpose of stress fracture prevention for fast bowlers. And my device is **more relevant** at slightly lower levels where the **bowlers are still very young and trying to master an action** (college teams and big coaching centres whose teams play in big leagues, I guess?) Also Vector can **only be bought for a whole team** and is **expensive and impractical at the lower levels.**

So I'm looking for **validation**, if this idea is actually **worthy of developing** into a product to start my research on this one. Is this **overkill** or will people be **reluctant** to buy this? If I'm missing out on **key factors** pls lmk.
