Bug Archmage : Ashe/ Zyra / Teemo / Corki / Gankplank / Caitlyn / Jhin / Heimerdinger / Ivern / Nidalee / Amumu / Millio and Janna E ( for combo Q+E Archmage did not refund Janna (E) properly. )

We all know that Riot looks at our Reddit posts to get an idea of what the community thinks and to identify bugs.

I submit bug reports through the official website, but as you know, it usually takes a lot of people reporting the same bug for it to be addressed more quickly.

Some bugs, like the ones affecting Draven’s quests, were fixed a month after the first reports. Others still haven’t been fixed, even after more than two months, such as Twisted Fate’s Echo augment bug on the Blossom map.

So right now, I’m asking as many players as possible to submit a bug report about Archmage on the game’s website. Please also keep raising awareness on social media, because this currently affects a significant number of champions.

As of today, 13 known champions are affected by bugs related to Archmage:

12 champions with charge-based abilities

1 champion with an ability that is not consistently refunded

Ashe E

Zyra W

Teemo R

Corki R

Gankplank E

Why does the weighting system never offer Jeweled Gauntlet to Jinx, yunara , Draven, or Kog'Maw? I don't get it. We almost never get it on them, whereas on other ADCs, we get it almost every time. I'm sick of always playing auto-attack builds. archmage too

That's all too rare among certain champions in the same category.

What do you think?

janna archmage is bug : The Archmage Janna bug is the same as the Veigar bug that Riot fixed in the last patch. Fixed a bug where Jannna's E in ARAM Mayhem did not trigger Archmage's cooldown refund effect.

  • Fixed a bug where Veigar's W in ARAM Mayhem did not trigger Archmage's cooldown refund effect.
  • Janna is currently facing the same problem Veigar had with Archmage.
  • bug where Jannna's E in ARAM Mayhem did not trigger Archmage's cooldown refund effect.
  • When you use the Q + E combo, Janna’s E ability isn’t always refunded.

Archmage bug on janna too !!

Regarding the Archmage bug: after observing this issue on over 20 champions (Ashe, Teemo, Zyra, Veigar, Azir, etc.), it appears that Archmage does not always refund Janna's E cooldown much like it previously failed to consistently refund Veigar's W cooldown.

In patch 26.16, Riot only fixed the bug for Veigar and Azir, but the issue has since appeared on other champions.

Please fix the bug that prevents the cooldown refund for Janna's E.

Here are the bugs fixed in patch 26.16:

Fixed a bug where Veigar's W in ARAM Mayhem did not trigger Archmage's cooldown refund effect.

Fixed a bug where Archmage did not refund Azir (W) properly.

Bug Archmage : Ashe/ Zyra / Teemo / Corki / Gankplank / Caitlyn / Jhin / Heimerdinger / Ivern / Nidalee / Amumu / Millio

There is a bug involving the "Archmage" effect on Ashe that prevents the refund for the second use of her E spell; either the effect doesn't trigger, or the refund doesn't process correctly, meaning you only get the cost back for one of the two spell casts.

I also played a game with Zyra and Teemo, and the same problem occurs with Zyra's W ability and Teemo's R. This is clearly the same bug that affected Azir which was fixed early in the 26.16 patch notes but it has now appeared on all champions who have multiple charges for a single spell.

I believe this is part of the recent wave of Archmage related bugs that emerged with patch 26.16, such as:

- A bug where Veigar's W spell in Chaos ARAM mode failed to trigger the Archmage cooldown reduction effect.

- The fix for a bug where Archmage wasn't correctly refunding the cost of Azir's W spell.

On top of that, there is another Archmage-related bug involving Locke, whose ultimate ability is fully refunded by his Q.

Bug archmage ashe / locke

There's a bug with Archmage on Ashe that prevents the refund for her second E cast; it either doesn't trigger or doesn't refund correctly, so you only end up getting a refund for one of the two E casts.

I think this falls in line with the recent Archmage-related bugs from patch 26.16, such as:

- A bug where Veigar's W in Chaos ARAM didn't trigger the Archmage cooldown refund effect.

- A fix for a bug where Archmage wasn't correctly refunding Azir's W.

Right now, there's the same bug affecting Ashe's E, plus another type of Archmage bug with Locke where his ultimate gets fully refunded.

When is the next big Mayhem patch? I'm getting bored with the current one. lack of build diversity

I wonder when the next big Mayhem update is coming, because the current one really sucks for quite a few champions, while others are really well-treated—the way *all* champions should be.

I find the new augment terrible, with the exception of:

Archmage, Dropbear, Hellbunt, Rite of Ascension, Spirit Bomb, and Spell Split.

Players have such excellent ideas, so how did things end up like this?

It lacks useful variety.

Issue Concerning Gold Skill Augment Improvements on Janna and Twisted Fate / Issue with Janna’s Tornado Damage BUG

I wanted to report an issue concerning the appearance frequency of certain Gold-tier skill augments, particularly on Janna.

I have the impression that the “Pursuit of Power” and “Pursuit of Haste” augments are extremely rare on Janna. After many games, I see them very rarely, if at all. I have also noticed a similar issue on Twisted Fate, where these augments seem to be almost nonexistent.

What is particularly strange is that these same augments appear much more regularly on other champions, such as Taliyah. This gives the impression that the appearance frequency of augments may be different depending on the champion, or that there could be an issue with certain specific augments.

However, these augments are particularly interesting on Janna and allow players to create completely different playstyles from the classic gameplay mainly based on healing and support. They make it possible to explore much more offensive or skill-oriented builds.

This is all the more regrettable given that certain upgrades such as "Chain Reaction" (which now also ranks among the Gold upgrades) can truly transform the way the champion is played and create highly interesting synergies.

I have also noticed what appears to be a bug with Janna’s tornado damage.

When the tornado is charged for the 3 seconds required to reach its maximum charge, the damage displayed when it hits an opponent seems to be random.

Normally, when a tornado is fully charged, it should deal the damage corresponding to its maximum charge.

However, in-game, when I fully charge the tornado and then hit the same champion, the damage can sometimes correspond to:

  • the minimum damage;
  • the intermediate damage;
  • or the maximum damage.

The result therefore seems completely random, even though the tornado is fully charged.

This issue is particularly noticeable when testing the ability several times on the same champion under the same conditions: despite fully charging it for 3 seconds each time, the damage can vary.

It would therefore be interesting to check whether the tornado’s charge value is correctly taken into account at the moment it hits its target, as a fully charged tornado should normally consistently deal the damage corresponding to its maximum charge.

Thank you in advance for checking these two issues. Augments such as Pursuit of Power, Pursuit of Haste, and Chain Reaction are really interesting and could allow for much more variety in the ways Janna can be played, so it would be unfortunate if they were so rare or if an issue prevented certain interactions from working correctly.

It's Time to Rework the ULT BOT Prismatic Augment

As many players have noticed, this augment has been a disappointment once they actually tried it in-game. The main issue is that it does not allow you to exceed the 500 Ability Haste cap applied to your ultimate.

While it's true that the Ability Haste effectiveness system means 334 Ability Haste already provides the equivalent of 500 Ability Haste, resulting in 83.33% cooldown reduction, once that threshold is reached, it becomes impossible to gain any additional cooldown reduction on your ultimate. The cooldown reduction remains permanently capped at 83.33%, even if you continue stacking more Ability Haste.

For many players, this behavior doesn't match the identity of the augment, nor what its name and description imply. An augment entirely focused on your ultimate naturally gives the impression that it should continue improving its cooldown beyond this limit, or at the very least provide some additional benefit once the cap has been reached.

Meanwhile, Eureka and Infinite Recursion already achieve the same result, except they do it better by also granting Ability Haste for your basic abilities.

The Purist Augment can certainly push CDR beyond 83%, but it is rarely paired with ULT BOT; more importantly, the results are far better with Eureka and Infinite Recursion.

It needs an identity, like a "back to basics" approach.

We also need to be able to break the 500 Haste cap with this augment; currently, it only affects the Ultimate, and the 50% Haste efficiency caps out at 334 Haste (equaling 500).

It should either grant a flat 5% Ultimate CDR or allow for 750 Haste.

It would also be cool to lock out basic abilities so you can play solely around the Ultimate—that would be fun on supports like Janna, Soraka, Lulu, and other champions.

For anyone thinking of Karthus: it’s a non-issue, as that augment is never offered to Karthus to my knowledge.

"Ult-bot" mode: locks basic abilities and grants 750 Haste (instead of 500 Haste + 5% CDR)

Let me know what you think.

Personally, I think that's how ULT BOT should be designed.

ARAM Mayhem: Why Do Senna Get Eureka and Draven Infernal Conduit, but Ashe Has No AP Augment?

https://preview.redd.it/acs9jxc7dzdh1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=a334838464f71153cb19659cbe75b5acd2d603b4

Out of the 42 champions that can be played as both AP and AD, nearly all have unrestricted access to AP/AD augments except Xin Zhao, Ashe, tristana and Yunara.

In Yunara's case, AP augments exist, but they are extremely rare. Ashe is in an even worse spot: you might see an AP augment once every 100 games.

Meanwhile, tank augments are offered consistently tank builds on ADCs much easier to play than APbuilds. The current weighting feels heavily biased toward tank options while severely restricting AP build diversity for these champions.

Why are AP builds suggested so often for Smolder, even though he has no AP spells (beyond a simple stat ratio)? It’s even worse right now with Senna and Draven, who aren't even viable as AP champions they are strictly AD.

Ashe Infernal conduit / Jarvan Infernal conduit so fun.

https://preview.redd.it/wgy3hf6a6udh1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=952fc6157d947d2154a8d969d0b77966456da11c

Today I played AP Ashe with Infernal Conduits, Vulnerability, Critical Missile, and Skilled Sniper.

That game was so much fun; I was able to be effective with her W, even with a base cooldown of 15–18 seconds.

Plus, the game before that, I played AP Jarvan IV with Terrain's, Infernal Conduits, Vulnerability, and It's Killing Time.

It’s great to see things that are a bit different from the usual; these are extremely rare combinations, but they’re fun.

Ashe in ARAM Mayhem: Useless Augments and a Lack of Creative Variety

I'm really disappointed with the new ARAM Mayhem update regarding Ashe.

You constantly get the same useless augments on her:

Dropkick

Back To Basics

Fey Magic

Can't Touch This

Titan's Resolve

Glass Cannon

Draw Your Sword

Squishy Slappy Grab

Meanwhile, those precious Prismatic slots could be used for things that are actually useful—like for the AP Ashe meta:

Wooglet

Infernal Conduit

Eureka

Archmage

Infinite Recursion

ULT BOT

DropBear

Cruelty

Currently, Infinite Recursion and Archmage *are* in the pool for Ashe, but I've only been offered each of them once in 54 ARAM Mayhem games since patch 26.13.

I also tested this over 40 times in custom ARAM Mayhem games, and the result was the same.

Fortunately, since patch 26.14, High Roller and Champion URF are no longer on that "ultra-rare" list alongside Archmage and Infinite Recursion.

The only useful Prismatic augments on Ashe right now are:

High Roller (AD/AP)

Scopiest Weapons (AD)

Giant Slayer (AD)

Dual Wield (AD)

Jeweled Gauntlet (AP)

Fan The Hammer (AD)

Ultimate Revolution (AD/AP)

Symphony of War (AD)

Upgrade Sword of Blossoming Dawn (AD)

Before, in ARAM Mayhem, you could play any build on a champion—AD, AP, Tank, or Healer.

But on certain champions like Ashe, Garen, and Yunara...

The choices are limited.

Crit Garen is impossible to play; the game only offers tank augments.

AP Yunara—using Eureka and Wooglet—is extremely rare to pull off...

Some champions lost their gameplay diversity during the last major update (patch 26.12).

Constantly playing Crit-Missile Ashe—because half the options are centered on that playstyle—gets boring after a while. Even Lethality Ashe is unplayable because her W is... 18 seconds in ARAM mayhem...

We could also talk about Ziggs—not fun to play due to his stat nerfs, which are insane in ARAM.

An Inconsistency in ARAM Mayhem's Augment System ASHE and YUNARA

What really surprised me was seeing an AP Lucian with Eureka and Wooglet, while I was playing Smolder and was also being offered Wooglet, Eureka, and several other AP augments. That made me wonder: why are Ashe and Yunara the only two ADCs with viable AP playstyles that don't have access to any AP augments?

In ARAM Mayhem, both champions have genuine AP potential. Yunara benefits tremendously from augments that grant free critical strike chance, making her passive incredibly strong, while her W can deal massive damage when combined with damage-boosting augments. AP Ashe also has a unique and fun playstyle centered around her ultimate, especially against long-range team compositions. Yet augments such as Wooglet, Eureka, Archmage, Recursion, and other AP-focused options are never offered to her.

This feels even stranger when you look at the rest of the roster. Many ADCs—including Smolder, Kai'Sa, Lucian, Corki, Ezreal, Kog'Maw, Miss Fortune, Tristana, Twitch, and Varus—can receive AP augments and create completely different builds. The same applies to champions such as Trundle, Akali, Gangplank, Shyvana, Jax, Udyr, Rengar, Warwick, Xin Zhao, Nasus, Thresh, Blitzcrank, Nidalee, and Teemo, all of whom can experiment with off-meta AP or AD builds thanks to the augment system. We've even seen creative and surprisingly effective builds like AP Jarvan IV built around his E with Terrain'd, or AD Nidalee and AD Teemo, which are both fun and viable because the augments make those playstyles possible.

That's exactly what makes ARAM Mayhem so enjoyable: experimenting, discovering unexpected synergies, and playing champions in completely new ways. So why are Ashe and Yunara, despite having legitimate AP playstyles in this mode, the only champions excluded from that diversity?

What makes this even more confusing is that Smolder, a champion with virtually no meaningful AP scaling in his kit, can still be offered augments like Wooglet, Eureka, Infernal Conduit, Adapt, Witchful Thinking, and many others. If Smolder can receive these augments simply because they enable creative builds, then it seems inconsistent that Ashe and Yunara are completely locked out of them. In a game mode designed around fun, experimentation, and build diversity, denying these two champions the same opportunities feels contrary to the very spirit of ARAM Mayhem.

After 600 Games on Patch 26.12: Underoptimized Champions and Recurrent Unnecessary Choices ( adc AD ONLY / assasin AD ONLY )

I play AD ADCs (Draven, Ashe, Quinn, Cait) and I always get the same augments (Fey Magic, Can't Touch This, Triggered Inferno, Master of Duality). They show up in every single game I play these champions, even though—aside from Quinn—they’re useless on Ashe, Draven, and Caitlyn...

They’re basically pointless on those champs.

Meanwhile, much more useful augments—specific to the champions—should appear more often instead of showing up once every 40 games:

Draven: Final Form, Infinite Recursion, Ult Bot, Archmage

Ashe: Eureka, Archmage, Wooglet, Final Form, Ult Bot, Infinite Recursion, Infernal Conduit

Cait: Infinite Recursion, Ult Bot, Archmage, Final Form

Quinn: Archmage, Final Form

Sivir: Archmage, Final Form, Infinite Recursion

All assassins: Archmage / Infinite Recursion

It’s the same story for assassins regarding Archmage and Infinite Recursion; ever since Archmage became a Prismatic augment, it only shows up once every 40 games for assassins and non-hybrid ADCs, which makes the gameplay less versatile.

It’s a real shame that these augments only appear once every 40 games for these champs. I’ve played over 600 games since patch 26.12, and I’ve seen these augments maybe once—or even zero times—on standard non-hybrid ADCs and assassins.

Ashe, who is often played AP, doesn't even get Mage augments—unlike Smolder, who has purely AD spells; Ashe is the only hybrid ADC that gets nothing.

Pure AD champs like Draven, Cait, Quinn, and Sivir are stuck playing with missiles all the time.

AD assassins are also very limited.

Ultimately, aside from mages, supports, tanks, and hybrid ADCs, the choice of augments is very restricted.
