Help with ticket resale
Hello. I've never used the resale function before. I want to buy two tickets, but only seem able to purchase one. I think I can link a fan, but not sure how.
I want to buy a ticket for myself and my son for the villa game on sunday.
Can my wife buy the other ticket next to mine and then my son use the one my wife purchased? Will they say my son cannot use the ticket if it has my wifes name on it?
Thanks in advance!
Tom

"When you hear of the interest from Chelsea, it's something that fills you with such immense pride," said Welbeck.
"I know a few of the boys already and I've had fantastic conversations with the manager and already feel that connection.
"I've got that fire in my belly and I'm ready to give it everything for this club to make everyone at Chelsea and the supporters, proud."

The ballot
So many people I know who don't run at all went into the ballot , reducing the chances for those of that are at least trying to make a go of it getting a place.
I wasnt expecting to get in either way , but I was really surprised to see people in the office saying how they didn't get a place. I've never seen them run a day in their lives !
I'm not gatekeeping here (ok maybe I am) but I'm of the opinion the whole thing needs revisiting.
Some ideas ...
credit card on application. If you get in you pay automatically AND a non refundable fee to enter that goes to charity.
Some form of verification that you've ran a half marathon or greater distance within the last two years.
Priority for those that have tried before ( some sort of weighting).
50k 2 weeks before a marathon - advice welcomed
I'm signed up for a relatively flat 50k in october, followed by a marathon 2 weeks later. I can't defer or get a refund on the 50k, so I'm all in now. It is what it is .
I've a few options:
- Run the 50k easy, so get round and enjoy the experience, treat as last long training run
- Make the 50k the last structured run - i.e. 10 E 10 MP 10 E or something.
- All out 50k, pray for recovery and then marathon.
Target time for marathon is 3:05- 3:10 (depending on how this block goes). I accept that option 3 above is likely to have the most impact... but just how much I'm not sure as 50K pace is different to marathon pace.
Be curious to hear if anyone else has made a similar conundrum like this work.
Relatively experienced runner. Plan - will be following Daniels 2Q again (starts this Sunday).
Ticket exchange question
Trying to find 2 seats together for me and my son. If I buy two adult tickets is he going to be allowed as long as his name on ticket ? Or do I have to find adult and child together.
I've collected a few t-shirts over the years. All reasonably good quality (I still wear some out today that are over 10 years old).
Did anyone else find that the Manchester t-shirt is just a bit shitty in terms of quality? It doesn't look like it will last very long..
