where do i start ?

i want to start editing, i actually want to edit but not like the big fancy editing. i record myself as the source and i just want to edit decently, maybe i will learn or get into those fancy insta edits, but for now i want to learn basic editing.

but i dont know where to start, what software should i use, should watch tutorials or read forums and guides. i am confused, i heard about davinci resolve..

please give me an idea of what getting into editing and what do i need to learn for simple basic vlog type editing.

i have hyperhidrosis(very sweaty hands) It's kinda disgusting but you can see it on the keys and at the top of the touchpad. i always use a mouse at home but at college i will use the touchpad and due to my sweaty hands it always gets dirty and less responsive.

whenever i try to take a screenshot i need to click multiple times just to activate it before selecting the area of the screenshot.

is there anything that i can do about this. help me guys
