A few days after the reboot was aired I woke up to voice messages from my Mother-in-Love saying that my deck was featured on the show. As a transracial adoptee, not growing up on a lot of the classic Black shows and coming into that and my Blackness in adulthood- it truly felt like a full circle moment.

I do feel like for the older generation they leaned into a little bit of a scary undertone in the opening and closing of the tarot scene but I am grateful that they brought spoke in reference to the Ancestors and brought divination tools into the show overall.

Included is the collage and the divination the collage is based on

Golden Thread Collage for Nyasha Williams created by myself, January 2026

I have been creating the collages by consensually divining for a person and then creating the collages based on the divination. The readings for the collages are done in the intention of the recipient of the collage remembering their Golden Thread.

The Golden Thread is the through-line of who you are beneath obligation, fear, and survival. The pieces are created to help us re-root in ourselves, reconnect to creativity and play, and receive clarity around what is next.

Mostly work in digital but have been dabbing some in physical lately.
