[Suggestion] Looking for a budget friendly PC for gaming.

I'm looking to upgrade to a gaming PC from my current laptop. My budget is around $1,000, but I'm willing to go up to $1,200 if it's worth the extra money. I'd like at least 16GB of RAM and ideally something with a good GPU. I'm mainly looking for something that can handle modded Minecraft with shaders, and modern games at high settings with good FPS. I've never bought or built a PC before so I don't know where to look or what to look for. Thanks in advance!

Why does everyone seem to dislike borderlands 4?

First things first, obviously not EVERYONE is unhappy with the game, but it seems like the majority of people are. I recently went on YouTube to find some videos, and it seems like most people maybe played once at launch then dropped it and haven’t even thought about it. When you look up Borderlands 4 on Reddit you get a bunch of people asking if it’s worth playing or returning to, and most of the top comments say no. I’ve seen some of the reasons but I’m here to ask what you think?

Obviously the biggest issue I see is “it doesn’t feel like borderlands anymore.” But what does that actually mean? Usually when I see this people are referring to a couple of different things, the open world layout, the characters or vault hunters, or the plot.
I think the open world is quite nice, and also the next step. Every game has expanded on the world in their own ways and though it’s different I don’t think the open world approach is bad. I think the plot and characters are much better than in 3, but that’s just my own personal opinion. And I admit the vault hunters did feel a bit stale to me. I’ve always played the siren first so I started with Vex and just felt like another beast master run. Harlow wasn’t too bad, although a bit boring. Rafa was fun but felt like I was back to playing Zane, and my personal favorite has been Amon, who to me feels like the least recycled VH.

I haven’t had any technical issues, but I just started playing and also play on Xbox so I can’t really say anything about optimization.

The only thing I’ve really had an issue with personally is loot, I feel like they didn’t learn anything from three and chose to make “rare” loot even more common which I don’t like.

But what’re your thoughts on the game? Are you someone who doesn’t like it? If so please share why.
