How to make unique stories worth reading?

I'm frankly not much of a writer, I'm far more of an artist, but something's been bothering me for months at this point. How do you create truly unique tales? I feel like every concept I create is a chewed up and apart out mix of other media. Even when I create concepts, I can never tie a story to it. I love vampires but I feel like there's nothing I can do that's new with them. I want something new, that's special to me. I don't want something that's just fun to create I need something special. I just don't know how to create that. I sit and sit and sit in silence in the dark waiting for that lightbulb moment but all I get is more darkness.

How do I create a truly unique idea, or is it just not possible?

What's in the extras of the DVD?

I'm probably gonna buy it myself but I know some people have already gotten their DVDs and I'm curious about what's exclusive to the disc. Is it just those deleted scenes that we've seen or is there more?

Winter Wonderfest AK

Me and my friends were talking and apparently at the Dena'ina center this December there's gonna be a cute little event with live concerts, cosplay competition, special guest QnA, food trucks, and more, it's their first year and it's only 10$ entree fee at the door, 12 and under goes in for free. Anyone else heard about this?

Here's the link if you're interested:

Dog freaks out in cars

So I have 2 (accidentally co-dependent) dogs, one boy one girl, and the girl really hates car rides. We don't do them often, but when we do we have to take them along because we don't have anyone to take care of them and dog sitting is out of the price range, and whenever we do she tends to freak out, lots of panting, some shaking and pacing. We've given her melatonin but that doesn't help much, we give her plenty of room, and she's gotten a bit better but she still doesn't handle it well. Tips?

Crash by Dimond Value Village

I didn't take a picture cause that felt disrespectful, but did anyone see that gnarly crash right by the Value Village on Dimond? One car was completely flipped upside down and the other's bumper was pretty much caved in, there were some fire fighters by them. Hope they're okay, that's brutal.

Mouse (kind of) not connecting to computer

Alright so something completely weird has been happening and I can't figure out what's going on. I have two Logitech mouses and two computers and the same issue has been happening. I'll plug in the mouse, it'll make the sound acknowledging something has been connected, yet the mouse won't move my computer (a Victus) around. I though it may be an issue with the computer so I connected it to my other laptop (an Envy) but when I plugged it in, again the same problem.

So I thought it may be a mouse problem, so I took my other mouse and plugged that in, again the same problem, I even tried plugging it in with my other computer, again, same problem. The thing is if I mess around with it enough, it works for a bit, but it'll stop working and I'll have to mess around (flicking it on and off, swapping batteries, unplugging and replugging, restarting and updating my laptop) yet none of it'll work. I haven't tried with a non logitech mouse, but I'm honestly not sure anymore. Anyone have any idea what's going on? (Btw the mouse is one of those that come with the little plug in but aren't bluetooth, whatever they're called)

I'm not particularly tech savy so if I failed to mention something, just ask.
