Options for trying clays on a budget with my current inventory.

Long story short, wanting to try clays with some guys from work without dropping a ton on a new set up.

Currently I have:
590 Shockwave SBS’d with Magpul furniture, Trijicon RMR on a riser/no cowitness, light, shell card, blah blah blah.

11-87 with Aimpoint red dot (can’t recall model), 18” slug barrel with no choke threads. No bead or rib on barrel, deer hunting gun back when I used to have the time.

500 20” 7+1 with mini shell adapter, top folder, no choke threads, shits n giggles gun.

So where I’m stuck at is threading the 11-87 or 500, or a new barrell for either, would end up being as much as a Maverick 88 new, right? So I don’t see a downside to buying the 88 combo, so I’ll have a 28” barrel with chokes, and an 18” for whatever. And if I don’t keep shooting clays, I can sell it and recoup some money.

Plus, it’s a new piece. Who doesn’t love that, even when it’s an 88. lol

Any better options I’m overlooking or haven’t stumbled across? I don’t mess with O/Us so if there’s a budget one that’s decent enough, I’m all ears.

I’m starting a new construction project in Detroit, all union labor, and need something to cancel out all the complaining about union wages I’m dealing with in the office. Help me keep my sanity for the next month or so.

Searching the terms “union” and “labor” in my podcast app will pull up like four episodes. Any help would be appreciated!
