Can the battery be removed from the bike and charged separately using the charger that comes with the bike? Ideally, I’d like to be able to leave the bike in the garage/shed and bring just the battery inside to charge.

Anyone with a Current ADV able to confirm this is how they charge theirs?

The Aventon website says it can be charged off the bike, but I’ve seen some conflicting comments in reviews, so I wanted to confirm.

’m thinking about subscribing to The Basement Yard Patreon, but I’m curious what everyone does for listening/watching.
With most episodes, I’ll usually switch back and forth multiple times — I might watch part of it, then lock my phone and just listen while I’m driving or doing something, then go back to watching later.
Ideally, I’d like to be able to do that without constantly having to find my spot again. What do you guys do? Does the Patreon app work well for this, or is there a better way to switch back and forth between watching and listening?

Ordering blind, no shop near me has one to sit on.

5’9.5”, 200 lbs. Aventon’s chart puts medium at 5’5”-5’9” and large at 5’10”-6’2” so I’m right in the crack between them.

Currently on a 2020 Giant Talon 29 in large and it’s always felt too long and difficult to control in tight turns

Part of me thinks medium since I already don’t like a long cockpit but at the bottom of large and sizing down on a 50+ lb ebike might feel cramped.

Anyone 5’9-5’10 riding one? Which did you go with, any input is greatly appreciated
