I was curious on what other people thought about Matthijs, this seasons especially but also just from his appearance in Season 3. I'll be honest, I never got good vibes from him and I felt his behaviour this season was especially weird and kinda shady. I don't know if this season really sold me on Rebecca's relationship with him and that he's a good fit for her. If anything this season made me think he was totally wrong for her, but in a way that makes me think the writers aren't intentionally writing him this way similar to the whole Michelle and Dr Jacob thing. I also worry any attempts to course correct might low key make things worse in a similar way to Michelle and Dr Jacob.

What are other people's thoughts on him? Do people have a more positive view of this guy?
