For people who actually go out in Gwinnett—what would make you genuinely want to leave the house and go to a party or nightlife event?
Not necessarily talking about a traditional club. I’m curious what people think is missing around here.

If someone put together a really good night, what would you want it to look like?

Every city has that one thing that makes you question why people defend it.

Could be the traffic, the people, the prices, the

Which Gwinnett city are you choosing, and what happened there that made you feel that way?

What does your dog chill or sleep on? I want to get something for my dog a bulldog/Lab mix to chill or sleep on in the garage without eating or nawing at it. It’s a medium sized dog.

Are they testing for THC? On their website they list other drugs as far as what’s the acceptable cut off, but they don’t have anything listed for marijuana and anything that’s listed about marijuana. It’s very vague.

I’m guessing no I’m guessing many people that work for the company smoke marijuana…

I’ve been thinking about this lately. Gwinnett has grown so much that there’s gotta be something here that people feel is a complete ripoff or just not worth the money.

What’s the biggest scam in Gwinnett County that nobody talks about?

I’m genuinely curious what people who have lived here for a while think.
Gwinnett has become incredibly diverse, but does living around people from different racial backgrounds actually translate into people meaningfully interacting with each other? Or have we mostly just created a county where different groups live next to each other while remaining socially separate?

Has anybody ever thought about creating a group where people who are getting hired actually help other people get hired?
For example, say you land a job somewhere and they’re hiring more people. If someone in this community has a similar background, experience, or credentials, why not give them a good look? Put their name in front of the hiring manager, refer them, or even offer to be a reference if you genuinely believe they’d be a good fit.
There are a lot of people who are qualified for jobs but struggle to get past that first step because they don’t have the right connections.
I’m not talking about blindly recommending strangers or putting your reputation on the line for someone you don’t know. I’m talking about building an actual network where people help each other when they can.
“I got in, so let me help somebody else get in too.”
Would anybody in Gwinnett actually be interested in something like this? Or does a group like this already exist?

I’m not looking for pity or handouts.
I’m looking for people who are in the same spot as me. Broke, unemployed (or barely getting by), trying to figure out life, and tired of feeling like they’re doing it alone.

It’d also be cool to make some genuine friends along the way. When you’re going through a rough patch, it’s easy to isolate yourself. Having people to talk to, laugh with, share ideas, and keep each other motivated can make a big difference. Even if we don’t end up making millions, building real friendships and a solid support system is a win by itself.

What I’m hoping to find is a small group of people who actually want to work together. Share job leads, side hustle ideas, AI tools, online opportunities, local gigs, business ideas, accountability, or anything else that could help us make real money and improve our lives.
No scams. No MLMs. No fake “I made $10k in a week” nonsense.

Just real people trying to get unstuck.

I believe the other party is lying and misrepresenting what really happened between both of us which was physical contact between both of us. He say she say type of thing but I do have a witness my mother and the incident happened in her home. Not asking for cheap, but does anybody know any affordable lawyers? Dacula/Buford/Lville area?
