Anyone else incredibly worried about GTA VI

Anyone else incredibly worried about GTA VI

This latest news isn't really surprising considering Rockstar has been priming us for this with GTA+ for a while now. Anyone who played the Expanded & Enhanced version of GTA Online saw how aggressively they pushed features to players who kicked over extra cash. Quality-of-life updates, exclusive outfits, and garage space were locked away, and it felt like a scumbag move to put heavily requested community features behind a paywall.

It seems Rockstar now feels they know exactly what the player base is willing to tolerate. They are completely comfortable locking in-game rewards and content away unless you give them the last four digits of your card. I want to take a "wait and see" approach, but seeing that the $100 Ultimate Edition actually locks five single-player stores behind an extra $20 premium is incredibly worrying. The specific locked shops include:

Spoke & Hub: A specialty motorcycle customization shop.

Mud & Gears: An off-road vehicle mod shop for trucks and ATVs.

The Velvet Razor: A high-end salon for exclusive character hairstyles.

Vice Vinyl: A boutique clothing store with premium outfits.

Overdrive Tuning: A performance mod shop for sports cars.

I'm just hoping this turns out to be a small thing in a much bigger game, and that everything else isn't going to be locked behind an extra 20 bones. On top of the financial greed, Rockstar has completely killed the physical market with this release. Since the physical version won't even include a disc, you are completely fucked if you have slow internet or rely on a jailbroken system that can't safely connect online.

EDIT : the game will release an disc in December

SIDE NOTE: I. I just want this to be the only drama that comes out about story mode hopefully its gonna be smooth ride until November I know in my guts that GTA Online 2.0 will be an issue snice no one who made the original online for V are there to make sure do and don't so im worry we might have 15 miles post ops vans for $5k
