A lot of people have been using the DEFINITION as the DESCRIPTION and that was fine with the other models. But pipsqueak 2 is SUPER strict on it. So if you don't write any dialog in your definition, then the characters won't talk. And don't just do the "hi I'm---". Write out how you'd write a roleplay with a bot and put as much personality into the bots messages as possible. Then it works just fine. I've found that writing the definition like you're supposed too then making a separation with a line like this:

______________________________________________________

Then writing the character description here if the description is too long and it needs to go in definition. Ever since I started following that formula Pipsqueak 2 has been surprisingly super good for me. Despite it being absolutely horrid 90% of the time.

Every time I come into this subreddit all I see is "I'M QUITTING THE GAME" and people hating on someone for owning all the perms or hating on the game in general for no specific reason. I can understand the frustration of the game, but it really seems like a ton of people only play the game because it's One Piece themed and don't actually care about the game at all. I started right after the 2025 Christmas event which I missed and I haven't had this much fun with a game with myself or with friends since 2016. I reached max level pretty quick and bought nearly all the perms with leftover money I had from when I saved up to buy something and I got more then I needed because I thought a ton of fruits were fun to use. And now all I see is people hating on the game 24/7 or hating on the updates for not releasing everything all at once. JUST PLAY SOMETHING ELSE THEN.

It's so blatantly obvious that's why they did this. These styles are bad on purpose. Pipsqueak 2 gives extremely bad dialog and puts everything in like 16 asterisks. Soft launch only writes a singular sentence and nothing more. Meow COMPLETELY ignores the setting, like theoretically if you had two characters talking on a video call from different countries, meow would make them hug. People haven't left because, to put it in the most truthful way. A lot of people are addicted, and have no other option, but I PROMISE, someone will come around and make one better and everyone will go to that one. I'm not saying to get rid of age verification as much as I wish it could be removed. But removing the core feature of decent chats will NOT push people to subscribe to your service, they'll just leave. You've pushed it and it worked before, but there's a limit to how far you can push it. And this is way passed it.
