It's quite windy here where I go to fly. I have 6mm xps foam with me, 2204 1800kv motor and 8045propeller. Any plane plans which could withstand such wind do that I can fly them?
I would prefer wingspan of less than 60cm, and am an intermediate flyer (not my first plane)
I have a good chance of getting iist by today or maybe next round. So I wanted to ask the seniors about the research prospects in iist. I want to do masters (and phd after that if everything goes ok) after the undergraduate program. How is iist electronics branch? How is the faculty there?
I am also confused between IISER tvm and iist. if anyone can list any pros and cons you know?

Got myself this 2204 motor without any datasheet online.
Do I just directly glue it or attach it to something like the plastic mount?
Also the motor has two types of screw holes, the outer ones fit smaller than M2 screws while the inner ones fit smaller than M3 size. With the inner one I can attach it to the mount, however how do I screw it to the motor?
The mount is glued to the coil (shown in pic) do disassembling it would not be any benefit right?
Hi, I recently decided to upgrade from coreless motors to brushless motors for my rc planes. I bought a readytosky LE2204 1800kv motor, a 8045 prop and a 12A blheli esc. I tried looking into yt, but all vids show installing props on prop savers, not the one which I have. Can you tell me whether I have to install the prop like the 1st pic or second?
The 3rd and 4th pic are the side views of 2nd and 1st respectively.
I didn't get any o ring with the motor, can I use a rubber band or two at my home?
Also the esc has all three wires black, while the motor has red, black and yellow wires. Does this matter or can I just directly solder them together?

I have a 180g rc plane made of xps insufoam (including electronics) . I am thinking of using a MT2204 2300KV bldc motor with simonK 30A esc and 2S 650 mah 45C battery. The motor has propeller recommendation of 5-6inch on 3S. Since I am using 2S, can I go for 7 inch propeller (like 7050) for more thrust? Or will my motor overheat and die?
