Hello! We are traveling to Bohemian Switzerland National Park and would love recommendations on cities to stay in that are well connected via public transportation.

We like the look of Hrensko, but are worried it is not well connected. Decin seems to be well connected, but it looks like it’s at least a 30 minute commute and we’d love to stay closer. Walking distance from the national park would be amazing, but we understand that might not be possible. We want to see the Pravcicka brana, Edmund Gorge, and do lots of hiking.

What recommendations do y’all have? We will be there for 3 nights.

I work in higher ed. I only negotiated $500 increase when I started. Other positions that have a lower pay range are making more than me because I didn’t negotiate enough. Don’t ask me why I didn’t ask for more- I was nervous and didn’t want to be denied.

Am I screwed or is there a tactful way to negotiate this far in?
