any recommendations?

do you feel more comfortable sleeping on something flat or in hammock?

i guess we all of course prefer flat but using hammock for some practical reasons

in my case it's bugs etc in amazon

but i consider a camp bed because hammoking is too complicated imo, angle, ridgeline, 11ft minimal...

oh btw if you -1 i just want you to know that i contempt you, and you probably do too

my shoulder/arm is pressed towards my body, is it just how hammocks work or is it because of my angle/not 11ft hammock?

i consider buying a camp bed, i'm pissed off this, it's too complicated to be comfortable, if it's even possible

if i understand correctly, the ridgeline helps to get the perfect (according to your taste) angle easier/instantly

but can the same angle be obtained without ridgeline? it would just take more time to adjust the two cords on trees?

or does the ridgeline allows some angle setting/specificity that couldn't be obtained without it?

it's not just about convenience/time gain?

i'm asking just about the angle stuff, not taking pressure for durability etc

i come from france, i used to make fire quite easily there using feathersticks / or just small sticks...

(i use a lighter but i alreay did it using a firesteel)

now i'm in the amazon rainforest and i struggle so much to find proper wood... my eyes are not managing to identify the correct pieces around me...
