Fiba 3 v 3

Randomly watching the FIBA three on three championships and it is so amazing. It’s a little different pace than how we play three on three in the states where basically the game never stops even after a made basket, so the pace is so fast. There’s so many more touches and good offensive actions and no wasted up and down the court and crappy full court press, zone defense that we see here in AAU. This would be so beneficial for our youth to be playing versus 5 on 5.

Neighbors have cars parked they don’t move

We live in classic RWC neighborhood with tear downs next to 2.5 million dollar houses, have lived here 20 plus years we know the deal. We have multiple neighbors have have cars on street that don’t move ever. These people are def “quirky” to put in nicely, we have had light discussions about we could use parking on street since my kids now drive, they don’t get it. One of neighbors who is very quirky but we get along refuses to move two cars from the street (both of which I just found out don’t run), and his other bucket has been in the shop for over a week, but he blocks his spot with cones. There is a nice women older women next to him that also has a non running car in front of her house that she says she is working on getting rid of but it’s been months.

Of course every one who visits or does work on our street parks in front of our house so when we get home we have nowhere to park.

I don’t want to get cars towed but this is ridiculous, and so frustrating.

Parent behavior

Just finished long spring/summer AAU basketball season (my son in HS), last tourney past weekend at huge venue in Vegas. I literally had to move where I was sitting multiple games because of parents on our games or next court screaming the entire game, “coaching”, yelling at refs, one dad literally standing in sideline yelling to team entire game (5th/6th grade team).

I just can’t believe the behavior I see at tournaments these days. Do people think this helps at all?

Going to first pool party in Vegas

I am 57 year old male, love golden age edm, go to few shows a year, mostly shows that are outdoors that end by 11 (few venues in Bay Area end before 11)

I am going with my son to a basketball tournament in Vegas and have a work friend who has a table at a pool party at omnia, that I can crash his groups table.
I’m not trying to sponge off this guy‘s table as far as getting free entry, also not looking to blow a grand contribution to the table since I don’t drink and not gonna be there for hours.

Questions:
Is there a good way for me to purchase expedited entry GA ticket? Ticket options are definitely a little bit confusing.

Do I need to have him put me on the list so I can get to the cabana area and if so, would that guarantee me free entry which I can just pay him for on the side?

If I try to show up too close to the headliner, is it gonna be really slow to get in?

I’m definitely not a fashionable person going to outdoor shows you just kinda wear whatever but what do I need to wear for a day club?

I’m attending here for the music and the vibes, and break in the hoops.

Partners who want to play in open play

I don’t feel like this happens too often but today played a couple people in open play where they were probably the two best but they insisted on playing together so it makes for not such a competitive game. My goal in open play is just to have the most even matchup possible, at this public court all four have to come off anyway with four waiting to come on for next games at all courts, thoughts…
