I was wanting to know what Eastern Catholics think about the Meditative aspect of the rosary. Does it seem counter productive to practice Hesycasm with the Jesus prayer and do the Rosary?
Also I was curious if you do pray the Rosary do any of you do it in a Hesycastic way, and do not meditate on the mysteries?
Hey guys I was curious if any of you say the Jesus Prayer in Greek or as the Maronite’s do in Aramaic. Just curious as a native English speaker I find them beautiful, especially Aramaic, since Christ spoke that language.
I was curious what beatified means for Catholics. Can they ask for their intercession and have icons of them? I have just been trying to find Eastern Catholic Saints, I’ve come upon three beatified people.

Hi I’m currently in OCIA, joining the Roman Rite, my heart is in eastern tradition but there are no eastern Catholic Churches near me.
I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on which psalter to purchase, I was looking into the Ancient Faith Psalter, it’s a good price and formulated for monastics it says. But any thoughts are greatly appreciated, God Bless

I’ve been looking into prayer books, such as the Publican prayer books. My question is would it be wrong to get “The Little Red Prayer Book” or Ancient Faith’s prayer book they offer? I know they are orthodox prayer books just curious if they’re acceptable in the Eastern Catholic Tradition?

Would it be wrong for a Catholic to really only pray the rosary.
Im currently in OCIA and I’ve found a deep love for the clausal method of praying the Rosary, if I feel that is the best way to deepen my love and relation for Christ would that be wrong to have that as my daily prayer rule?
This mainly about explaining miracles in the Roman Catholic Church such as Marian apparitions and Eucharistic miracles. Do they validate the RC church? But I would really appreciate arguments against Roman Catholicism from the Bible also, such as Jesus’ words to Peter in many different places. Thank you guys very much.
I am an inquirer into Orthodoxy and was wondering there was is any reason to or not to join in fasting, such as the current Apostles Fast? I feel drawn to the act of self denial, but is there any reason to since I am outside the Body?
