Roadwork takes away the Left and Center lanes on Southbound I-97 after New Cut Rd. Concrete buckled from the extreme heat, reminiscent of the incident that happened Friday on the Northbound that shut down portion of the highway.
If you’re planning to drive in that direction, give yourself an extra 15-30 minutes

Seems like the recent update to the credit card rewards unlocked a new option to redeem your cash back at Walmart checkouts.
Used my CashRewards card at the register, figuring that I wouldn’t expect to see any surprises. Noticed on the card reader display “Would you like to redeem your $10 Navy Federal rewards for $10 Off purchase?”

OnStar must not want me as a customer!
Been receiving a number of robocalls from OnStar mentioning that there is an issue with my payment method, followed by emails. I called my financial institution NFCU, which the rep said that it’s an autopay recurring transaction and that they’ve not attempted for the month of May. Reached out to OnStar chat. No help. Reached out to phone support, which they told me to remove the card and re-add. I asked the rep what purpose would that do if the card info is already correct. The rep told me that it tends to be an issue on their end that my “card info gets messed up”. I was like that doesn’t make sense if it a reoccurring charge, why is it an issue now? Is OnStar going in and deliberately changing my card number to make my account past due? The rep ended up removing my card and re-entered and wait a couple days as they still don’t take payments in real-time 🙄
