HELP WITH THE INDUCTION COOKTOP

Why is the residual heat always on. And why does it just stop heating even while on. The cooking takes so much longer. And I'm so frustrated. Am I the one doing something wrong coz as seen in the photo...that cumin has been there for 10 min atleast and it hasn't heated up. What do I even do. How is the residual heat on if I've just switched on the induction and it hasn't been even 15 min. It is so annoying to cook on this indication. PLEASE HELPPPO

Getting massive cold feet before my solo trip

A little context, the trip was not supposed to be solo but my friend cancelled on me last minute so I decided to come either way. Currently I'm in Kochi, Kerala with my other friend who works here and we explored the city together. I was supposed to leave for Munnar two days ago but I keep on cancelling due to anxiety I guess. I prepare myself mentally, give myself prep talk, talk to the hotel managers, everything and then just don't go in the morning. I'm wasting my time in my friend's hostel in this supposed 10 day "kerala trip".

What should I do??? Pleaseeee help me!!! How do I get over this????
