Layoffs and WFH policies
If I am applying for jobs at SF city and county,
- How do I differentiate between jobs that are at risk and might not exist versus jobs that are secure and won’t leave me fearing that I’ll be laid off? I need job security more than anything (evenmore than the pay). Is there a way to know that a job announcement is for a job that will exist and is non-risk?
- I see jobs that require more time in the office than at home (four days in office, one day at home). I have a child to consider and would prefer jobs similar to my current one, where I go in the office one day a week and work from home the other four days (so exact opposite of SF city and county jobs Lol). How strict is the policy around WFH?
