the beach has eroded fully at one side of the island resulting in palm trees to be just barely above sea level.
living away from home really makes you appreciate how good you really have (friends and family and also the place in general)
good to finally be back!
Just saw another post about Maldives so thought to share an image from April 25. This shows the atoll I’m from and it has the Guinness World Record for the atoll with the most number of islands, around 255 islands
A very recent satellite imagery of the entirety of Malé city.
since I forgot to add in my last post.
I’ve been living in Spain for a while so I took a day trip to the beautiful Xàtiva from Valencia. Spent the day in walking thru the beautiful town and went hiking up to see the castle. Wonderful experience. My first time hiking up a mountain as a someone from the flattest country in the world!
I took a Eurail trip a few other European countries during this time. Starting off in Switzerland, next to Austria, then the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. Two amazing weeks from the 1st of April till the 15th. And during the last weekend of April, went on a Ryanair flight to Pisa and Lucca and also the countryside. the pictures here show my travel map, Xàtiva Spain, Prague Czech Republic and Interlaken Switzerland

We are literally the 177th country out of a list of 180 countries for “Biodiversity and Habitat Preservation”
